"The cleaning staff always stocked our mini fridge and the room was swept and mopped everyday. Job well done by the cleaning staff. My only complaint about the hotel would be the lack of water pressure in the shower. It would come out as if the water handle was only half way open. We spoke to the front desk and the issue was fixed for one day. The next day it was back to its original pressure. Food was decent with varying options from day to day. Occasionally, at Las Olas food bar, the food was over cooked. Other than that, a wonderful stay. Lots of activities (water zumba, jenga, all white party, Dominican culture dance). The beach was lovely as well. I took engagement photos. The front desk was nice enough to put me in contact with a gentleman to take my pictures and they came out lovely. They also were able to get me some Dominican fried chicken( Pollos Victoria) from an hour away! They aim to please. :) "

"Hotel Hemingway was a beautiful place, short walk across the street to their sister property Club Hemingway with access to the beach and short walk to an excellent Argentinian restaurant called Paladart. Service was excellent from the gentleman at front desk (sorry I forgot his name). There is some construction on a sidewalk in between the hotel but they were done by 5ish."

"Hodelpa is a nice place with great staff. All inclusive is not at the level of others, but you are not paying a huge All Inclucive fee either. It is not all day eat and drink. The price reflects this. It is very adequate for anybody not wanting to worry about eat and drinks. We were in a group of about 25 people and everyone was satisfied with what you get for the price paid. As I stated earlier the staff is great. Hodelpa is an old Embassy Suites. So if you have ever been to one of those you should understand both the building and room layout. I won't say it is a negative, but they do have music and some kind of entertainment that goes until about 11pm each night. Depending on where your room is and if you want to go to sleep before that time, you may be bothered. We just accepted it and figured it is the Dominican way. They like to have a good time. The Hotel is set within a private residental community. It is quiet and safe. Once again the staff were GREAT."
