Ranch Hands Bunkhouse RiverView cabin - Sevier River Ranch - 1 Cal King Bed

The Ranch Hands Bunkhouse at Sevier River Ranch & Cattle Company is a private studio style log cabin located on a quiet 280 acre cattle ranch in Hatch, between Bryce Canyon (25 mins) and Zion National Park (50 mins).

The air-conditioned Bunkhouse is newly decorated with ranching antiques and consist of a main room with 1 California King size bed, a kitchenette with sink, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot with coffee provided (no stove or cooking utensils) and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. It sleeps 2 people and is about the size of a large hotel room.
The private deck offers panoramic view across the ranch's pastures (where you will see cattle and horses during the summer), the Sevier River winding through the ranch, and the Hatch valley. A small, shared charcoal BBQ is available for your use outside (charcoal, matches, and lighter fluid not provided).
High speed Internet service (free wifi) and a smart TV are available.

The Ranch Hands Bunkhouse is located next to the Wranglers Quarters (also sleeps 2 in on California king bed), available for rent via a separate listing. Should you need even more space for your group, you may consider renting the main Ranch House which sleeps 6, The Barn which sleeps 3, or Tack Room or Farriers Quarters which sleep 4 each with full kitchens and are available via separate listings.

You will enjoy a good night rest in eerie silence. If you're from the big city, it will take some getting used to!

The property is equipped with state-of-the-art electronic locks so that guests can check themselves in at any time, and late check-in is not a problem. Guests can roam freely on the ranch as well as fish (with a Utah fishing license, that can be purchased online) and swim in the Sevier River.

We are always available to answer any questions or give you tips for daytrips or restaurants. We speak English, only. Do not hesitate to reach out with any question, prior or during your trip.

Whether you are looking to explore the natural wonders of the area (the Bunkhouse is located between 2 of the most visited National Parks in the country) or whether you're an animal lover (there are cattle and horses on the property during the summer, many deer roam the property, you can watch a large array of birds right from the deck, and we have the biggest animal shelter in the US only 45 minutes away),

The Ranch Hands Bunkhouse is located on the Sevier River Ranch in Hatch, a small rural town of 200 people. Locals are very friendly and helpful, and you shouldn't hesitate to ask anyone for tips and recommendations.

The Sevier River Ranch is very private on the edge of town. It sits on 280+ acres and is traversed by the Sevier River and there is typically 100+ head of cattle on the property during the summer season.

Note that there are no grocery stores in Hatch and you should plan to bring at least some food with you. The nearest grocery store is in Panguitch (15 mins) and you will find a Walmart Supercenter in Cedar City (1 hour). Kanab also has a grocery store 1 hour south on Hwy 89. There are convenience stores located in Hatch during the season and at Todd's Junction 15 minutes south of Hatch.

There is no public transportation. You will need a car - a regular low-clearance sedan is sufficient to access the Bunkhouse itself.

We have a strict no-pet and no-smoking policy.

Stayed at the Ranch Hands Bunkhouse. The reviews were/are on-point. The view from the front porch was spectacular! All l could think of was zen-like calm, people! Like a blanket thrown over the rest of the world, leaving nothing but you, your partner & a humble appreciation of God's glory. The cabin was awfully cozy & clean. The amenities were satisfactory. The property grounds worthy of aimless nature exploration. Thanks for the memorable experience!

The house was clean, close to town but far enough away to enjoy the gorgeous scenery. It was relaxing to stay after a long day at Bryce Canyon NP. Would highly recommend to stay here and we would definitely stay again! Wish we had a few more nights to stay. The host was extremely helpful as well.

Delightful cabin near national parks
This cabin in Hatch is a true find! It is meticulously clean, has an extremely comfortable bed, and includes all the basics that one might need when using it as a base to explore Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park. We loved the pretty view from the porch, where we enjoyed our coffee each morning and sat to watch the sun go down each evening. The small kitchen area was just what we needed to fix our breakfast each day and prepare our picnic lunches before heading out to the national parks. The hot water in the bathroom was almost instant, and it was great to have the space heater in there to take the chill off before taking a shower. Location of the cabin is handy for spending time in Bryce Canyon NP and Red Canyon area of Dixie National Forest. It is a bit of a trek to get to Zion NP, but the drive is beautiful. Gordon, the host, is a complete dream! We had to change our dates a bit and he was extremely accomodating. He not only called but also texted with us and handled everything. We would jump at the chance to stay at his property again in the future, knowing what a great host he is and how marvelous the cabin is!

This was the perfect spot for our trip to explore Zion and Bryce Canyon. The location was perfect. The house was exactly as described. Communication was great. Instructions both we arrived and in the binder were clear and easy to understand. Stars were abundant and we even got a beautiful coat of snow our last night. I highly recommend.

Quiet getaway
The property was easy to find and was very clean and ready when we arrived. Location was great and the views were just as the pictures showed. Would be great for large family gatherings as well. The only advice I would say is to post that the restaurants in Hatch are seasonal. But with panguitch only a short drive they had restaurants that were open and very good. Overall great experience and we are planning on another trip here next year. Thanks again!!

Breathtaking Views
We loved the cabin from the moment we drove onto the property. When we walked on the deck we were so excited about the views. The cabin was just like the pictures! The bed was comfortable and kitchen had just enough items. Glad there was a toaster. Of course we toured Bryce Canyons and looked forward to returning to our cabin each day. My husband rode some amazing gravel bike trails, up and over the mountain. We hope to come back!.
