Excellent option , very friendly staff

We had a wonderful stay at TABI Ueno. The location was perfect and easy to navigate. The food options in the area were fantastic and the hotel and staff were very clean and lovely.

I’ve traveled extensively around the world during my time in the U.S. Marine Corps and later as a businessman, and I’ve stayed in more hotels than I could ever count. I can honestly say this is one of the finest properties I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The hotel itself is stunning—beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and welcoming from the moment you arrive. But what truly sets it apart is the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, kind, professional, and genuinely eager to make our stay exceptional. Their hospitality wasn’t just excellent—it felt sincere. To me, the true measure of a great hotel isn’t just its architecture or amenities, but the people who bring it to life every day. In that regard, this place is second to none. The beauty of the property is simply a reflection of the incredible people who care for it and the guests who stay here. Thank you for making our visit such a memorable one. We hope to return someday.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The staff are all so kind, welcoming and ready to accommodate. If you’re the type that just likes to relax at their hotel when on a trip, this stay is perfect because everything you could possibly need is on site! There’s even a convenience store in the hotel. I seriously can’t even put into words how great this stay was. Close to subway for easy travel. Always Uber’s and taxis on site for immediate need. I could go on and on.

Pro: great location, walking distance to shopping and entertainment district. 10 to 15 min walk to all the Shinjuku stations. Relatively quiet neighborhood. Con: the rooms are extremely small. We booked two double rooms on the 8th floor, and each was smaller than the size of a typical cruise ship room. Hardly any spaces for large luggages. On our first night, we asked for extra blankets and they didn't have any, which might just due to the busy season but was very odd to be running out of blankets for a large hotel.
