"Great quiet first family trip. The cottage was small - definitely struggled with seating for three of us to eat together- and closer to the main house than I thought, but it was still private and quiet. If you like a firmer pillow, bring one, but if you like fluffy soft clouds they have you covered. My son enjoyed feeding the chickens in the back and loved seeing the dog. We enjoyed fishing just down the street and the host was ever so accommodating with our questions. We left with our son asking if we could stay here for 5 days next time. Sounds perfect, to me. "

"The check-in was easy and George welcomed us to the cabins, explaining where all the amenities were.Facilities for cooking, etc were good and the kitchen appliances etc. were everything I needed. "

"We were alarmed when we pulled up to the property since the lawn didn't look like it had been mowed and the garbages were overflowing and torn up by rodents, there was a treehouse in the back that was boarded up with broken glass windows, the fire pit we were to use was completely rusted and collapsed rendering it useless. I had issues receiving the entrance code but customer service was very friendly. Once we got in the space looked clean. There was plenty of bedding and pillows for everyone to be comfortable overnight. The kitchen was relatively well stocked but was missing forks. Overall we were slightly disappointed with our stay but we're glad to have enough space for the 4 of us on such a busy weekend."

"A beautiful picturesque cottage in a very quiet and peaceful area. Everything worked well, and was clean in every aspect. We didn't canoe at all as we're not really on-the-water people, but we enjoy relaxing by it...nearby Bancroft had everything we needed as well. Had a nice relaxing time."

"A well run hostel with all that you need for a comfortable stop over. Friendly and welcoming staff. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare your food. Fans are available for those warmer days and nights. "
