De eerste nacht verbleven wij alleen in de villa. We kregen een immens ontbijt voor ons twee. Werkelijk alles was aanwezig. Fruitsap werd ter plaatse vers geperst. Er werd een eitje warm gebakken. "This was a return visit to Le Refuge, having stayed there 3 years previously. The owners remembered us and on arrival were offered 'coffee and cake'! This visit was just as memorable as the first with the hosts being the best. The property is superbly located being a short distance from the center of Hasselt. "The hotel is fine, but getting in is a bit of a maze. We also received an email the day before telling us we could park on site and they would validate our parking. We came to leave to get parking validated and they said they didn't do that, we have to pay. The fact I had an email from them saying otherwise didn't seem to matter and they showed no concern this email gets sent as standard and had no interest when I suggested changing it. Parking is 17 eu re o a day so not cheap, and I would have...

"Extremely quaint, great opportunity to be a part of local culture. Dining outside; biergarten on the promenade. Super friendly staff. Century Hotel is a modern version of old time European Inn. Restaurant on base floor with a small number of small but very functional rooms on upper floors. There is no elevator. If stairs are a challenge come for the food and biergarten. "
