Bed and Breakfast in Hartshead Moor

"Room was clean and adequate for 1 night stay. Bed comfortable and large even though expecting only a double. Pillows extremely firm as over filled - would have been nice to have 1 firm and 1 soft. Bathroom clean; however shower cubicle extremely small. I m glad we are not of a large size. The grouting needed a good clean. An impressive building with some lovely areas; however the old rugs on the floor are extremely tired- looking! A rather tired look throughout the hotel. Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful."

"We were really unhappy at first as the room we were given the toilet stank, I went to reception to complain about this and the only choice I was given was to pay for an upgrade.!! Although it was only £15 I don't think that this was fair, especially as it was uninhabitable The receptionist said that he would pass this on to his manager but I have not heard a thing We are going again, but are obviously very wary about it all We are going quite a few times to this hotel and the previous rooms have been really nice I must admit I was quite shocked about this "

"The hotel overall was nice. The lady who checked me in was really friendly. Overall everything seemed clean except for the stains on the carpet in my room. I did notice the traffic outside but it didn’t keep me awake. The bed was comfy. There was a fridge available in the room and, if you needed it, an ironing board and a hairdryer."

"Only gripe was the WiFi was down during our stay. Everything else great, nice staff, clean room, everything we needed for an overnight stay. Great location, key on your phone for convenience. All good 👍"
