"First: The property is hard to find. Looking for 23 Lang Street per Expedia. But you have to enter 25 Lang Street. Why can’t they provide accurate directions? Very poor start. Second: The room is huge and clean and well-appointed. Oh wait, the architect forgot something. How about a bathroom door ! And bathroom walls that reach the ceiling! This place is for monkeys, not humans. Made for a unique experience that I’ll hope to not repeat. Somebody didn’t think this place through."

"Betty’s Boutique is a lovely building with quirky rooms and several communal areas to sit, including two bars and a lovely garden. We stayed in the Spa room which was nicely decorated and comfortable with a big bath & separate shower. The room had all the necessary amenities and was spotlessly clean. Marcia gave us a warm welcome on arrival and showed us around. We decided after a long drive to stay in for dinner and had the lasagna & garlic bread which was delicious. "This was our 3rd stay at this hotel and we were disappointed for the first time. It feels like things are being let go. Main restaurant isn't open for dinner so you either eat at the sports bar nearby or have to travel into a restaurant in George. We stay here for the golf, which is great but will probably go elsewhere next time around."
