The beautiful architecture, historic details, spacious rooms, and breathtaking waterfront setting made us feel as though we had stepped back in time, but with the comforts of a wonderful getaway.There is something truly magical about enjoying your morning coffee while taking in the peaceful water views, exploring the mansion's unique character, and imagining all the memories that have been made within its walls over the years.What made this stay even more special was the opportunity to gather with family and friends, share laughter, reminisce, and create beautiful new memories together. "Beautiful property. Being right next to the river was amazing. Hearing the rushing water through the house all night was peaceful and relaxing. We loved how remote the location was, even given the other neighbors. We loved the swing on the river bank! Cabin was clean and inviting. The walk in shower was awesome!"

"The location and setting was great for what we were looking for as a small get away. The cabin was cute and warm for October. It was relaxing to sit by the water and watch the sunset. Everything that was needed was there. The host was great with communication. We loved our stay. Only thing I would say is if your looking for no distractions and quietness ask whether anyone is renting the house next to the cabin. We were celebrating our anniversary & wanted to be alone, there was a large family that showed up the next day with several kids and a drone that kept getting used."

"We loved this place. It was very clean and cozy. Our dog loved being able to swim in the pond and roam freely. We were able to take the canoe out and walk the trails and enjoy the fall foliage. It’s super peaceful and beautiful!"

"This place was a dream. It was the quiet I needed in a place that I love. Laying out on the upstairs balcony in the dark looking up at the stars will be a memory that gets me through stress at home. The cabin was cozy, but roomy. Definitely space for 6. The cabin is across the street from the lake shore, but an easy walk down through the owner's property. The Cranberry Lake primitive state park trails are a short walk away along with a plethora of other trails to pick from within a short drive. My dog and I hiked 20 miles on one day alone with rarely a person in site...unlike the High Peaks this time of year! Only down side was that I did not receive an email to help me know how to get in (as stated in the Orbitz site). The owner was available by phone to assist, but cell phone connection can be touchy, so a secure email with details would have been helpful to refer to. If that is not possible, then it should not be stated as such on the Orbitz or Vrbo sites. Also, for rainy day entertainment, you will need your own wifi, games, or a few good books to read. Definitely a place to go back to!"
