"I have stayed at this place multiple times with no issues but this time my stay wasn't great. We have always been on the 1st floor and the rooms were decent and clean. This time I was put on the 3rd floor and the room was awful. The couch had stains, the room obviously hasn't been dusted in a while, there was a dead bug in the shower, the shower didn't drain well and the balcony door was taped with black tape and had to be opened using a lot of force. It was so loud, there was little kids running up and down the hallway and knocking on doors after 10. It was just a lot going on. Also, the trash outdoors is always running over and upon us leaving this morning someone decided to leave trash right in the middle of the hotel when you enter through the side doors. Maybe because the trash can was overflowing but that's not an excuse. With that being said I gave it 3 stars based on previous stays and the fact that the bed is comfy and clean and they had hot water. They also have a nice sitting area outside. I never go to breakfast though so I can't rate that. "

"Staff and check-in was fine and seemed friendly. The overall maintenance of the property was lacking and not very clean. Our door would not lock when pulled shut, due to the frame being bent. It looked like it was forced in at some point in time and not properly fixed (but that is just a guess), but the deadbolt seated, so it was fine as long as you were in room to latch the deadbolt. Also, they had a sign that indicated food was not allowed in rooms, which seemed odd (although I understand the intent). Pool looked like it needed a serious refreash and seemed to align with overall condition of property. On our last night there looked to be vomit (or something that looked alot like it anyway) in the elevator and it was still there in the morning. I guess, I could have reported all these items, but it seems like simple maintenence/housekeeping should have easily discovered appropriately fixed the items."

"Staff checking us in had a demeanor that she wanted to be somewhere else. When I notified her that the women’s bathroom was out of toilet paper she shrugged it off with no acknowledgement of received the information. The tile floor throughout the lobby to the elevator and in the elevator was filthy and shows stuck to it. Breakfast was good in the morning and I believe we interrupted the staff coming in to eat the leftovers during break despite a half hour left for guests as they all scattered when we arrived. Our room was clean, comfortable and had enough towels for two which was greatly appreciated despite the first impression we received."
