"I have never been a fan of bed and breakfast places but this place can make you a believer! Location, location, location; can easily walk to historic district. The best feature of this Inn is the gourmet breakfast; we got a different delicious breakfast every day. This historic house is a well maintained beauty that you’ll love!"

"I absolutely loved this comfortable and hospitable place. The communication was amazing and the extra little touches to make us feel welcome and at home plus the overall atmosphere was just perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer and explored the town which looked charming but I want to give a nod to the terrific little corner cafe we walked to for dinner where the service was friendly and the food delicious. "We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet...

"One room had a terrible smell when we walked in, mostly in the bathroom. Kinda smelled like someone had eaten a huge seafood meal in the room. Turning the fan on and spraying some perfume helped. The other room also had an odor but turning the fan on helped. The bed was hard and creaky but you could tell it was recently upgraded - they just chose to go the cheap route with bedspring mattresses vs memory foam or something else. The charging port next to my bedside didn't work, the stairs outside were rusted and there was a rusted dog cage in the parking lot. Breakfast was OK, waffle maker was the highlight. Otherwise, it was bagels, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee."
"The hotel is so new the smell of paint is a bit overwhelming. The only option I saw for the grab & go breakfast was coffee and oranges. Otherwise a very nice property with a nice gym and laundry facilities. "
"The staff was very nice and parking is easy. In a great location and it's a great price for what you get. Nothing too fancy, but it works and it feels safe. They have breakfast in the AM and cookies & popcorn in the lobby throughout the day.
I didn't like that my room had an outdated HVAC, it was super loud even when the fan was on "low", and there wasn't a digital thermometer so we couldn't tell what the temperature was."
Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Harrisonburg
8/10 Good
"Breakfast was lacking my needs. There was no protein. Coffee was ok but needed half and half. There were only the coffee mate flavored items available. Room was clean and was good. Nice and quiet. Staff very good and efficient. Overall good stay except breakfast."
