Great stay for our large group
Perfect stay for our scout troop weekend at Hersheypark. The house was clean and comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed and plenty of space for our group. It was a safe quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from the park. As others have mentioned, the stairs are steep and the downstairs much colder than upstairs but overall it was exactly what we needed, would stay here again.

Not to happy
Went with my family trying to be close to Hershey Park, my sister got to the house first and unfortunately she found a dirty sheets, text the owner she was very good texting back. Told us the sheets were just change but didn't seem like that we could find a hair all over the sheets and pillowcases seem dirty, to complete my journey it was a mouse having a party in the kitchen, didn't feel i like using any utensils or stuff from the kitchen. I think the owner need to put some more effort and buy a new sheet sets would be better and nicer to offer to the renters. To complete the weekend the dining table was only for 2 people... not a nice experience to tell.

Good location
It was a nice property and served it’s purpose for our stay. Short drive to Hershey Park and a quiet neighborhood. It’s an older home that had some updates like new flooring. However the climate control was tricky. The basement was freezing while the upstairs was much warmer. We did have someone sleeping in the basement so it was a bit uncomfortable for them. Originally we planned to have the kids sleep down there in the bunk beds but the steps were very steep and with the temperature differences we didn’t feel comfortable putting them down there. Overall it was a good place- no frills, but a place to sleep, which was all we really needed. Tara was easy to get in touch with and we appreciated the communication.

Great affordable option near Hershey/Harrisburg!
Overall, a great option for an affordable stay near Hershey/Harrisburg. There were a few minors flaws with the house, such as the thermostat being a bit finicky, the low clearance for the basement door, and the fact that some of the basement doors didn't close fully. However putting aside those minor issues, the house was clean, had all the amenities we needed, was comfortable for everyone in our group and we all enjoyed our stay!

I guess for the price it worked.
I booked this house based on the listing stating it could sleep 15 people. By 3PM the day of our stay we still hadn’t gotten checkin info. They had the dates wrong and had to rush to clean & prepare the unit for our arrival. Luckily we were at Hershey so we were arriving late. When we arrived there weren’t enough places to sleep 15. Luckily one of the families cancelled so there were 9 of us. After finding bedding we made the couch a bed and had enough places to sleep everyone with all beds having double occupancy except the twins. While the rooms looked ready, 2 of the beds didn’t have sheets on them upstairs and the downstairs bunk was half made. We then had to scrounge some more fitting different sheets to try and make a set to finish the beds. Since we arrived late, and at a park all day, this wasn’t exactly enjoyable. Other people have mentioned the dangerous stairs to the basement. Besides the low ceiling height, there is no handrail. Not sure if that is even up to code. I know in New York State, that it is not. At least the place was clean. My suggestion is to have an accurate listing with an accurate head count of how many can stay. It will still book, but with less stress for guests. Don’t assume you can fit 3 people in a full size bed or people want to sleep on floors. There isn’t even enough extra bedding for make shift beds. Not sure I’d stay again.

Rustic but Comfortable

This house was the perfect distance from the stadium while also being far enough away from the craziness! Great experience overall!

Close to Hershey but that’s the only highlight
I would like to say first that I have never given an VRBO a bad review. This house will be my first. First of all, there is no way this house sleeps 15 people as described. It sleeps 6-8 people comfortably. The beds were one step above an air mattress. Second problem- the only place to sit and have a meal is a busted up table with 2 chairs. Third problem- the basement was as cold as the arctic and the rest of the house was very warm. The stairs leading down to the basement is a death trap all on its own. Might I recommend changing your listing to be more honest as well as fixing the air conditioning issue and those god awful stairs! Also adding in some kind of dining table and chairs? Honestly this house will give my family something to laugh about for years to come- we all left after 3 sleepless nights looking forward to going home to our own beds.

Family visit to Hershey
I booked this house with my extended family for an annual visit to Hershey. The house is an easy 20 minute drive to the park in a quiet neighborhood. Check in was simple and Tara was very easy to reach with any questions. The house is a mix of updated and older rooms/furnishings but very comfortable for our group. There were fewer beds than were listed in the property description but there were enough for our group. There is a nicely finished basement with a set of bunkbeds and a couch with plenty of space to hang out if your group wants to do separate activities. I would stay here again on another trip to Hershey.

Trip to Hersheypark
We stayed at Tara’s home for our Hershey stay with a group of 12! Communication was great, she responded to all of our questions within minutes of messaging her, before and during our stay. The location is nice and close to lots of dining and shopping as well as just a quick drive to the park which was nice for the kids. We additional enjoyed the screened in porch and yard for the kids. Thank you!

Great place close to Hershey Park
We had a great stay here for our weekend visit to Hershey Park. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and has everything you need. The back yard is landscaped beautifully and there is a small fire pit for use. The home is about 20 minutes away from Hershey Park. Close enough to many other things as well.

So cute!
This house was super cute! Obviously just redone, the owner was very responsive to our every question! There were lots of sweet details, even a note and some extra supplies for our day trip to Hershey Park. Our kids LOVED the Foosball table and basement area, which they took over as their own. I would absolutely stay here again!
