"Great experience. Cabin is as shown, very comfortable, easy access. 10 min to Shepherdstown, lots of great restaurants and shops there. Our dates ended up being over the severe cold/snow in January 2025, so we didn't do much hiking or anything on the river, but it was a lovely environment, very peaceful and cozy. Owners were super responsive when needed and very easy to work with. Would definitely go back in nicer weather! "

, fenced in yard, and clean. The grill was perfect, new and well kept. That allowed an evening in enjoying the property and a great steak. The host couple was very attentive, friendly and helpful. "Really nice house that was accurate to listing. Bathroom in particular was nicely furnished with a great shower room. Great view from the indoor deck area. Nice outdoor space with well-done landscaping and a fire pit. The property owner was also highly flexible with needs for my pet. I would recommend this property and would stay there again."
