"Wonderful hotel with great balcony views of the Sea of Galilee. Staff were very accommodating. I ended up extending my reservation 2 additional nights due to lack of transportation out of Tiberius on shabbat and enjoyed just staying in the room all day Saturday. Cons: there was hair in the corner of shower floor (not mine) and some mold…everything else was spotless except the floors around the shower. For such a nice hotel I was surprised not to find a hair dryer or iron but that didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the room."
"The room was clean, spacious and had a great view of the sea. The bed was comfortable and had a great two nights of sleep. The breakfast buffet was good and had a lot of variety. The promenade was walking distance and convenient.
The GM and Kim front desk manager were very good and helpful. Our tour guide had an accident and had to cancel one room on the first day. The hotel were very kind and forgave the charge for the first day and gave me a further discount for the second day. They did not have to do that, but the hotel went over and above and beyond the call of service. This is service at its best."
"Overall, the hotel was wonderful. It was a convenient location for our family to spend a week vacation in the Galilee area. There are attractions, restaurants and shops all nearby. The hotel was extremely clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast and dinner buffets have a wide variety of options. The only reason we would not stay here again was the bathroom design in the rooms. The toilet does not have a full door and the bathroom area does not have a door at all, and even has open shelving to the bedroom area that you can see and hear through, so the bathroom has essentially no privacy. I suppose if you're staying alone, it's not an issue, although still not ideal to have the toilet so open to the bedroom, but definitely consider this if you're sharing a room with anyone! Also the TV's in the rooms are older (not smart tvs) and have a small selection of channels, but there's so much to see and do in the area, it's not much of a problem. The grounds to the hotel are also wonderful with ruins, a chapel, water fountains, lots of area to roam around. We enjoyed everything about the hotel and property, except for the bathroom situation!"
"The room was with plenty of space for a solo traveler. The breakfast was not included to the plan but you can find one in the hotel restaurant or on the street. I did not find staff always in the front desk so I had to make a phone call to get out my car from the parking."
"My experience at Canaan spa was excellent . The guests and impressions were thought out to the most minute detail. The hosts were truly overly amiable. I truly look forward to visiting again. I already put in a good reference to my chavruttah. He is planning to visit to Sfat with his family. Thank you. Norman First"
