"We may be more particular than most people. In our room (402), the door to the balcony needs repaired as is hard to open & the shower nozzle needs replaced. Cleaning of the room was just okay/not excellent. Pool area was beautiful & Doc’s was a nice amenity. We were particularly disappointed in the Summit Restaurant, which has excellent service but the food quality was lacking. Everything was heavily over-peppered. Overall Shanghai-La Resort is a beautiful facility in a gorgeous location. We just maybe expected a little higher standard in our room."

"Stayed here for a long lake weekend! The perfect spot to come back to and unwind after a day on the lake! There was plenty of room for all of us and we loved having a big table to play games at each night! Would def recommend to anyone looking for a house on the lake!"

"10/10!! We had a fabulous weekend at Grand Lake! This home is very well stocked, super clean and has all the extras. The snacks upon arrival are the perfect thoughtful touch. Communication with the host was outstanding. We look forward to our next stay!"
