"Cabin was large and clean. Probably should bring your own cooking supplies..ie pots and knives. There is a sulfur smell from the well water but that shouldn’t discourage anyone from having a great time. Also an awd vehicle helps."

"Cabin was very clean on the inside. Staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. If you want to see water falling you’d be best to come in spring. The drive in and out is a little scary but as long as you go slow it’s doable. 4x4 recommended. Loved the seclusion and quiet"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Crooked Cabin! If you're looking to truly disconnect, this is the ultimate romantic woodland escape. The cabin itself feels straight out of a fairytale, with its unique crooked windows, handmade details, and secluded 25 private wooded acres.Spending our evenings soaking under the stars in the private wood-fired hot tub and relaxing by the fire was exactly the recharge we needed before heading back to reality. It's close enough to enjoy everything the Red River Gorge area has to offer, yet secluded enough that you feel completely tucked away in your own private world.Dennis was a fantastic host — hospitable, attentive, and clearly thought of everything. We loved the charming storybook details woven throughout the property. Highly recommend to anyone needing a peaceful, unique getaway!"

"Property was beautiful! The amenities were great, however there was only. A Keurig so if you’re huge coffee drinkers, bring a pot! Not a lot of pans to prepare food but with the grill on the firepit we made it all work! There were spices in the kitchen but as you know things get old so glad we picked up a few things! Very up to date inside, few minor things but nothing that slowed us down! Everything seemed to work, really no complaints at all. Shower drain was a tad slow but that could have been due to the type it was. Nothing is perfect would recommend to a friend!"
