However as we returned after an evening out the stench in the air from a soil, composting, wastewater and recycling treatment plant was overwhelming. I there is a solution to this as Chemainus is a charming town and the Cottage and Castle was exceptional! "

"The place was amazing. Kathy was an excellent gracious host. The hot tub was a beautiful end to our evenings. The views are gorgeous and the space was very clean with everything you would need. My only wish was for an outdoor patio heater for morning coffee. . "

(Only one drawer found with some dirt) Plus points: Early check-in arranged upon request. Very quiet place with comfortable rooms. "
