Nice hotel outside of the congestion of Hanoi. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Beautiful pool and rooftop bar/restaurant. Good included breakfast and overall good value though taxi or Grab needed to get around. Its a trade-off of quiet space vs noise and traffic all around.

We had a fantastic 1-week stay at Hanoi Riverview Boutique Hotel! The suite was absolutely splendid with a pretty balcony and lavish bathtub - my kid especially loved the projector setup which made us feel like we had our own home theatre. The hotel’s peaceful location, away from the city’s hustle, made for a truly relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally kind and friendly, consistently going above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. A special mention to our receptionist Flower, who went out of her way to help us with tour bookings and was so kind to show us around Hanoi’s Old Town. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. 🙃

Quite the best hospitality of any hotel I have ever stayed at.The staff were amazing and truly welcoming, offering help and suggestions.They really made our stay special. The hotel is lovely with incredible views and is a calm oasis in a busy city. Breakfast buffet was delicious and varied.Special mention for Flower who was just wonderful, and Nicolas (also wonderful) who gave us his selection of foodie highlights to try, which was super helpful.Bartender (sorry didnt get his name) brought us cocktails on the roof in the rain.Honestly these folks know true hospitality!!

My boyfriend and I chose HRB to stay at when we first got into Hanoi from Da Nang. We were greeted with such friendliness and open arms that it’s made the stay 100% better. We booked the Premium Double with balcony and city view and the room is beautiful. It’s the comfiest set up we’ve seen all over Expedia and were excited to stay. We ended up booking daily because we weren’t sure about some construction nearby being too loud, but no other place we saw on Expedia had everything we were looking for. A beautiful big tub, open floor plan, nice balcony, AC, and included breakfast. There is construction with a building being built next door, it starts roughly around 8-9am, pauses for a few hours, then picks up again in the afternoon. My partner and I are still able to get comfortable sleep during the night, with no loud bars nearby and the hotel bar not being loud, it’s perfect at night. The staff has a kind, apologetic note about the construction and provided earplugs for us instantly. The note said the plugs should’ve been in the room and we couldn’t find them, in less than 2 minutes reception was at our door with two sets of nice earplugs and apologies for there not being any when we arrived. Even with the construction, my partner and I couldn’t be happier with Hanoi Riverview! And such a big thank you to the staff for chatting with us while we wait for grabs, getting anything we needed as quickly as possible, and making sure our stay is as comfortable as possible!

Amazing stay

Arriving at Tet, Vietnamese New Year’s Eve, I was invited to celebrate at midnight on the rooftop (beautiful views) with the owner and his family. This set the standard for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. I enjoy being left to my self, but this was a luxurious hotel with all the privacy that entails, but with a dash of the charm of a home stay. I enjoyed the location, since I was looking for something a bit away from the tourist hustle and constant bustle of the old quarter. It’s just over a ten minutes quick stroll to closest Circle K, and then you’re in an area with a ok selection of restaurants and bars. Enjoying a good walk I also appreciated to saunter down the roads along the West Lake to the city center. Being there during Tet it could be a bit hard to get a (cheap) Grab, but for the rest of the year that should be a cheap solution when one’s tired of walking. Granted, this is a very new hotel that just opened a month ago. So there will be small details that’s not completely fixed yet, but who cares when met with so much eagerness to help and warming hospitality.

Many good thing as about this hotel. The staff are the best from anywhere we have stayed in southeast asia. Specially Flower and Jasmine. There were plenty of sitting areas. The pool looked good but it waa too cold to use. We arrived late and the kitchen waa closed but the cook offered to make pizza for us. The grab was very cheap to old town.
