It was a scam, we have been refunded but found ourselves without any accommodation. It placed a lot of stress on us and I would have thought that Expedia would have found us other accommodation considering that we booked 3 weeks ago and kept asking them to confirm that this was legitimate, very disappointing and stressful

I couldn’t find the apartment. Some local people helped me and they couldn’t find it either.
I texted them on hotels.com and they didn’t reply.
Again some locals helped me call the apartment and they said everything was booked.
Suddenly I got a message on WhatsApp where they said that the apartment had problems and I got a link to another place.
I texted them back that I already booked another hotel.
The got angry and deleted the texting on WhatsApp. I contacted hotels.com for help. They called the apartment and was told I cancelled my stay. I didn’t. Think I lost my payment. I’m angry
