Fantastic stay at this hotel. Very comfortable and we were allowed early check in at a very reasonable rate. Clean, comfortable and very close to lots of things to do whilst being quiet and relaxing.

Good basic room in walking distance to the lake and many interesting places. Disappointed that half of the rooms are at the rear facing aspect of the building and don’t have windows or a balcony. It was good for what we needed as heading to the airport the next day, however would not recommend for a longer stay. If you could guarantee a balcony room, street facing - different story altogether. Staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly and the rooms were very clean.

Great location, in the French Quarter very close to the Old Quarter. Many good places to eat, shop and sightsee nearby. The hotel staff was very friendly. However, as with many buildings in the area it is an older building, so there is a damp/moist smell. My daughter also had an allergic reaction which started when we checked in and went away when we checked out. For the rest of our stay in Hanoi we stayed in a newer hotel without any allergic reactions, so it was likely something in the hotel or the bedding that caused it.

The reception staff will help you with their smiles and kindness. You can walk to the old town, but it's a little far from there, and the street facing the hotel is one-way, so you can escape from the hustle and bustle at night. It's an ideal location for me. Grab to Noi Bai Airport costs around 330K. The water pressure is weak, but not unbearable. A minimum level of cleanliness is maintained. However, it is better not to look under the bed. I also wiped down the closet before unpacking my things, just in case.

Cheap hotel in old Hà Nội

The rooms needs to be freshen up. We had 2 queen beds and the room was spacious. Elevator only went to 8th floor, we had to use the stairs for the 9th floor but It was okay as they brought our luggages upstairs. Staff is amazing and very friendly and they speak English. They took arrangements to pick up up at the airport with their driver for 20$. No pool at this hotel. The A/C wasn't working well and was shutting down by itself, we had to ask for a fan and believe me you need the A/C to work in this country. Fridge in the room not cool, water was room temperature. But what makes this hotel so nice, is really the staff and Jane at the counter. Grab taxi are very cheap, so you can move around for one to three dollars per ride. Overall, It was a good hotel for the price paid.
