"We discovered Sunset Motel a couple of years ago and couldn’t be happier. Our stays with a large hotel chain are a thing of the past. Here, staff strive to accommodate your every need and make you feel welcome. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the linens get changed every day - something others only provide upon request. We will not stay anywhere else while visiting Murphy, NC"
"Staff was great, very clean room, A/C worked fine and didn't use the gym. The food choices were great in the Food Hall and portions were not skimpy. A Breakast Buffet is served in the Brew Brothers Restaurant on the main floor. All in all we loved it. We are 75 year old seniors, drove 7 hours to get there and will be back."
"The Hummingbird House was beautiful and just very inviting and comfy. It was the perfect amount of time away from the busier parts of town but still close enough that running to the store wasnt bad at all. And the homeowner is so super nice. :) Thank you again!!"
"I did not like that we weren't notified about the construction on this property. The pool was filled with what appeared to be mattress boxes, abut not water. While i appreciate upgrades, this was a disappointment. "
