"A great old pub with rooms in the heart of the charming village of Lindfield. About a 10 minute drive by taxi or bus from Haywards Heath station. We had dinner at the pub the first night and it was excellent and good value for money we thought. We stayed two nights and a good breakfast was included the next morning. All though the pub looks like you would expect an old worldy English village pub to look like the rooms upstairs are pretty basic in contrast. You have everything you need for a night's stay but the rooms/bathrooms could use an upgrade. It would be great if they could look and feel a bit more like the rest of the pub. Due to the buildings age not an easy thing to do but it would definitely bring more to the experience. The staff were great. All super friendly and willing to help when they can. Couldn't have asked for more really. "

"The bed was really uncomfortable, which was a surprise for a PI, as they pride themselves on the bed comfort. The bar was open late which was great. The parking is small, only 17 spots and you pay for this daily. "

"A beautifully renovated old barn. Just stunning, beautiful views out the double height glass of the surrounding paddocks and woodland. Superb. One quirk to be aware of.. the bathroom and toilet are open plan to the whole barn , so you can hear everything. It is upstairs so it’s not in line of sight. Also there are many steps and the bathroom/toilet is upstairs so may not suitable for someone with limited mobility. Also there is no walk in shower, but there is a gorgeous claw foot bath with hand shower.It suited us well!"
