Hale Nanea is close to everything Hana, yet far enough away that it's private and peaceful at night. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable with custom Bali furnishings.

Enjoy the tranquility of the cottage on the screened in patio or explore Hana's most beautiful attractions, only minutes away. 1/2 mile to Hana Town (stores and restaurants) and 1.5 miles to the pristine Hamoa Beach.

A wonderful refuge

Fabulous location!

We loved this little spot. Fabulous view that we enjoyed with the moon reflecting off the ocean, a huge lawn to play on and super close to Koki, Hamoa and Hana. We would have loved to stay longer!

The property is set in a garden with limited view of the ocean. It is quiet with easy drive to Hana village, food trucks and many beaches and hiking trails. The property has everything needed to make it convenient Washer/ dryer, snorkels and boogie boards. Only problem was the sofa needs a new base . I would stay there again

Peaceful Hana cottage

My family had a wonderful stay at Michelle's cottage. Hana is our favorite place to visit when in Maui and we were happy to find an accommodation to fit our growing family. The beds were comfortable and clean, ample towels and supplies, fully stocked kitchen, and a significant shed of supplies for snorkeling, boogie boarding, etc. Can't wait to return!

Relaxing Hana getaway

3 nights in Hana

Nice small house just outside Hana, but close to everything. 1min to food trucks and stores, 5min to two beaches (and Huli Huli Chicken). It is a good place to start for day trips to do all the road to Hana things without hurry and be the first at Waimoku Falls, Waiʻānapanapa State Park or Lava Tube. If we (family of 4) come back to Hana, we happily would stay here again.

Lovely home, convenient location

We spent three nights here for part of our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier! Lovely lanai and comfy bed, well stocked kitchen and nice living room to hang out! We enjoyed the many beaches and hikes in the area and use of the beach equipment to borrow. A few geckos joined us inside and tiny ants but that is expected out here. We would come back again!

Best place to stay in Hana!!

This was the perfect little cottage that is right in the middle of everything in Hana. Michele was an excellent host and had VERY quick response times, even with time differences when booking. The cottage came with all the water equipment you would need, including snorkel gear, boogie boards (so much fun!), volleyball, water shoes, etc. Black sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park was a 10-15 min drive, Venus Pool is about the same, as well as the red sand beach and multiple other beaches. The cottage had tons of acreage and lots of fruit trees around the property. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank You to the Horens!!

Little piece of paradise

Such a relaxing location, off the Road to Hana. The pictures are representative. View on the sunrise every morning on the porch amongst lush vegetation. 4 minutes drive from one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen (Hamoa). The setting is a cottage, with rustic furnishings with room for everyone. Bedding was impeccably clean. We had all the kitchen necessities for preparing meals. No air conditioning, but fans available. The temperature get lower at night so was comfortable. It is in a higher location so there is almost always a breeze. Would go back if I had the opportunity to visit again. There are dogs at the main house, but we barely heard them and never saw them. It is a private road and they bark only if a strange car pulls up. We had chickens that came to visit us every morning. Adorable.
