Great old house within an easy walk of just about everything Hammondsport has to offer. Rooms were neat and clean and quite comfortable. Plenty of room for parking and large yard with nice shade and room to relax. The hostess Catherine was very pleasant and more than willing to share her knowledge of the area. We'll be going back for sure
Rooms were smaller than depicted in photos and house is not located as near the Keuka Lake as implied. Breakfast provided was not anything special (bagels, yogurt, fruit, cold cereal) and included no cooked foods.

We had a great weekend here. Kathryn and her mom were wonderful. Please note as a result of the pandemic breakfast is not served at the property. You have to walk about 10 minutes but the breakfast it was great.
This hotel is the worst kind of business. Took our money and then took another reservation over us. Catherine Powell said she notified us through email. What really happened she sent an email through Hotels.com which comes through looking like an advertisement.
Meanwhile I received emails from Hotels.com say our booking was garunteed on the 12th and 16th She could have called or texted but no and she had the wrong dates anyway say it wasn't available JUNE 17th, 18, 19 and 20th. My reservations were JULY 16th, 17, 18, & 19th. Then she refuses to refund our money or assist us in anyway. First she said Hotels.com has it. Then she said if she refunded the money it wouldn't be all of it because of the commission. In the end we ended up paying a lot of extra money for a place to stay and the only hotel we could find was in Geneva 45 minutes away and I still don't have a refund.
Tiny bathroom and shower but very cute room. Historic home in quiet neighborhood close to restaurants and shops. Being an old home....walls were thin and noise traveled between rooms easily.
My wife and I had a great three night stay. We celebrated our 15th anniversary. Even though work was being done on the premise. We were well taken care of.
We got there to ck in and we’re told they overbooked and they moved us to a hotel. No contact was made prior to
This. Hotel was away from town and had no pool. I booked this over a month prior and the reservation was confirmed. I would not recommend.
The stay was nice but for breakfast we are served a store-bought muffin and six grapes. No coffee was available. It would’ve been nice to somehow have coffee and maybe fresh baked goods for breakfast.
The Powell Family made every possible effort to make sure we had an excellent stay
The wine tour was fantastic we learned about wine and the history of the area
They welcomed us like life long friends
We were there for our 45th wedding anniversary and went out of their way to make the time we spent there very special

Beautiful, old-fashioned quaintness!
This 158 year old home holds so much history! every detail has been thought of! The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. The breakfasts decadent and each room unique and en suite! We'll definitely back!
The Inn is a beautiful, converted house on a large piece of property. Because we traveled to visit friends, we didn't take advantage of some of the features such as the screen porch, furnished with beautiful wicker, or the swimming pool.
Breakfast was in a traditional style and delicious. In addition, the gentleman who helped us check in (sorry, do not remember his name) gave a great overview of the attractions in the area as well as the history of the property.
The room was comfortable and cool, despite the scorching heat outside.
Within walking distance to the attractions of Hammondsport and a short drive from many of the attractions and wineries, this bed and breakfast was exactly what we needed. Friendly owners, clean house and rooms, nicely decorated and landscaped, and continental style breakfast every morning.
Lovely Stay. Stayed in Coachman's Quarters 3 nights.
Thanks to Catherine & staff for a wonderful stay. Walked to dinner and around town
Great breakfast shared with other guest.
My husband and I had a lovely stay here last night. The room had a great bed, unusual set up for the bathroom, but very nice shower. We stayed in the Henry Ford Room. We went in the pool, enjoyed the screened in porch and corn toss game outside. We had a lovely breakfast of eggs, fruit and bagels, coffee and juice. We had drinks and dinner in town and along the lake and visited the Curtiss Museum. Hammondsport is a quaint and lovely town. We had a nice time at 18 Vine Inn. The inn and gardens were lovely and there are many antiques and beautiful collectibles there. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.
The rooms are beautifully decorated. Barbara and Catherine took excellent care of us during our stay. The grounds are well maintained and had flowers blooming in every corner of the yard. Loved the quaint town overflowing with history. Our stay was so relaxing, enjoyed every minute and will be back again.

Historic B & B
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 18 VIne. We loved hearing about the history of the home and community from Catherine and Lee. Lee was our host for the winery and brewery tour. He took us to some historic and unique locations, shared information about the history of the wineries and community. He was a joy to be around! Our only issue was during check in. We came in and waited a while. When no one came, we had to go to the back and knock on the kitchen door.
My husband and I booked through this site for our one year anniversary. Our original dates were July 2-4. I emailed the owner to see if at all possible to change just to the 3-4. I waited five days for a response and got none! My husband then called and talked to a Jessica who said that would be no problem at all. 5 days before our arrival we get a call saying we no longer have the reservations because we were no longer staying two nights. I find their system very flawed whether it's the owner herself that wanted more money and let someone trump our reservations Or the site we booked it through. Funny how I got a email to review the room we never had a chance to stay in! Very disappointed and would never book again! This was our first bed and breakfast experience . Not a very good one
What a wonderful experience. Beautiful property in village of Hammondsport, Ctose to everything. Walking distance to town and lake. We had a wonderful time and great hospitality. Inkeepers very kind and down to earth. Highly recommend for any type of accommodations. You cannot go wrong. Enjoy!
