We traveled back to Hamilton for a wedding, it was nice to spread out and have space for this weekend family event. Only downside would be the parking. We had drive 2 cars & parking on site was an issue. We used to lot across the street.

Great location
We stayed at this location while attending a volleyball tournament for the weekend at the Spooky Nook Sports complex. Location was amazing for the facility and local attractions. Lots of great food and drink in walking distance. Clean, comfortable and will stay again for future tournaments at Spooky Nook.

Clean and spacious, but noisy
This place was clean and spacious, but being close to the fire station, it was rather noisy throughout the night. Sirens, neighbors and trains were a little loud. I was disappointed in the fact they didn't want visitors as that was the whole purpose of us getting a house so we could host family and friends for dinner. It could use a few more blankets to accommodate the advertised sleeping capacity. The kitchen could use some storage bags/ plastic wrap/tin foil and a pair of scissors. The one dining room chair was so wobbly we put it to the side and didn't use it. The bathroom sink upstairs is almost plugged and it was that way when we arrived.

Nicely renovated. House is situated on busy streets with a lot of traffic. May want to bring earplugs for those sleeping in main bedroom. All bedrooms are upstairs. One full bath upstairs and one full bath downstairs

Spacious home
Wonderful renovated home in very convenient location. Clean and well appointed. Host was very responsive to my questions and check-in was easy. If you’re staying in one of the street-facing bedrooms, you may want to pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper like me. Otherwise, beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. Would definitely book again!

Comfortable stay for the most part
Inside home comfortable. Very clean and well stock. Could use more kitchen linens. Lighting in kitchen poor. Poor location on an extremely busy corner and close to hospital. Ambulances passing day and night. Overall it was very clean and large and comfortable for our family. May rent again in the future.

Pay way more than advertised
Being a vacation owner myself I am very disappointed that this property was marketed in a way that did not correctly list additional fees that would be incurred. The listing advertises that it sleeps 9 people. We booked it to plan for 4 adults and 4 kids staying at the property (ended up only have 2 adults/4 kids). Looking at the bill we were charged an additional $15/day/guest over 2. When I looked back at the listing it did show that there would be a $15 charge for additional guests but it did not list over 2 or that it would be per day, for us this total was $270! When I asked the owner he replied that there was nothing he could do about it on the VRBO end. Want to make sure anyone else looking at this property is aware of these details!

Okay Property
The house was pretty clean, although there was a major ant problem in the kitchen. We ended up walking across the street to Walgreens to get ant traps. The property is fairly close to a hospital so all night long you hear sirens.
