"Great family friendly. Comfortable beds"

"We had an amazing stay at Jasper Tonquin Inn thanks to the incredible hospitality from Maricel and Sukh. We checked in around 9:45 PM and were told the hot tub would be closing at 10:00 PM. While joking with my girlfriend about rushing to the hot tub, Maricel and Sukh shared a smile—and just moments later, they completely surprised us with an upgrade to their best suite, which even included a private sauna. The suite was huge—easily the largest room we’ve ever stayed in here. It had two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with a king), a spacious living room, dining area, and a full kitchen. We honestly felt incredibly lucky. When I mentioned we wouldn’t use the second bedroom to save housekeeping some work, they kindly insisted it was no problem and just wanted us to fully enjoy the experience. I’ve been coming to this hotel for ski trips for over a decade. While it may not be the most modern or luxurious property in Jasper, it’s a place we keep returning to because of the memories—and this experience just added another great one. A big thank you to Maricel and Sukh for going above and beyond to make our night special. We’ll definitely be back and will happily recommend this place to our friends."

"Marmot Lodge is a motel so rooms open to the outside. We didn’t realize this when we booked. But the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. On the downside, there was no conditioner in the room or in the pool shower area. The pool area was a bit dirty on the deck because there was no designated area to place everyone’s shoes. This could be easily remedied by installing cubbies and a mat inside the door. Overall, the stay was comfortable. "

"We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located right on the Athabasca River. The amenities are great, and the outdoor community fireplace is very well maintained, making it a lovely spot to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax in nature."

"JPL is the most beautiful property, even while under renovation. The staff are so lovely and our updated room on the lake was perfect. Such a cozy and peaceful little getaway. Also enjoyed our breakfast in bed from Stanley’s and all the wildlife on our walks. So looking forward to returning soon! "
