"The service was excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay a positive experience. The only reason for putting 4 stars is that the bathroom in our room had a strong ammonia smell. Also, as a heads up, I went with my elderly mother and the building had steep stairs to get to the bath and dining, and the room was not exactly barrier free and we tripped over a couple of times (We didn't think much of it at the time of booking, so it's our fault) Otherwise, it was a great!"

The room we stayed in was the only area we could describe as clean, which was a relief as the rest of the property is dirty and in desperate need of cleaning and painting. "We got upgraded to a bigger room and was welcomed by a paranomic view. The hotel location is just 8mins walk to the Hamamatsu station. Amenities were a 9/10 due to the fact that we are provided those small bottles of shampoo, body lotion etc which may not be so environmental friendly."
