Nice family vacation

The hosts have provided everything needed for a family vacation. The layout includes plenty of space for cooking, eating, playing board games, etc.. From the wood stove in the living room, to the BBQ and fire pit outside, the amenities are all included.

Lovely, cozy spot. It was well-supplied and even included condiments and cooking supplies. Loved the quilts and banana bread. Beds were comfortable and living area worked great.

Great vacation rental

My husband and I stayed here with our 4 young children. We all had a great time. It was a great location in between so many fun places to check out. We took the boats out in the cove (be careful on the stairs on the way down!!), enjoyed the backyard, and the kids enjoyed the games! Thanks for a great stay.

Idyllic

Exactly as described! It was the perfect set up for our family and 2 dogs. Hosts are super responsive...even tho they are on site we still had total privacy. Can't say enough about this beautiful little hideaway.

Comfy and cozy home away from home!

Great little place tucked away in the forest. We enjoyed a relaxing few days kayaking, sipping coffee on the deck, visiting the numerous nearby trails and parks and playing games by a warming fire. Thank you for a wonderful stay! P.s. The cookies that welcomed us were delicious.

Wonderful relaxing oasis

We loved the quietness, the ambiance and lushness of the property. It was my mom , husband, my tiny yorkie and myself. We all had a great time. My mom loved the fresh banana loaf that awaited us.

Peaceful stay

We had a great time exploring on our paddle boards and we enjoyed the use of cable and kayaks provided by the hosts. We brought a propane fire and had lovely evenings roasting marshmallows and catching up. They’ve done a nice job with the landscaping so it feels private. Would recommend!

Cozy cabin in the woods

The place was great! Exactly as advertised. Nice and private, and the wood stove made the cabin super cozy. Lots of wood provided for both indoor and outside fires. Canoe and kayaks were a bonus! Great to be able to explore a bit with them. Would stay again for sure.

Secret Cove Stay

Our stay was great. The rental property had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive to emails leading up to our stay, answering questions and providing information for activities in the area. The property is close to several beaches and a short drive to Sechelt. It's a long ways down walking to the cove for those with bad knees, but the water is calm and the kayaking is great.

Enchanting getaway

Perfect property for our group of kayaking friends. The house was very inviting with lots of funky art work and collectables. The layout suited us perfectly....a central Living/kitchen area with easy access to the bedrooms. Ian and Jackie were friendly and accommodating hosts.

Quiet and peaceful

We had an excellent stay with our baby, grandpa, and standard poodle. With 4 rooms everyone had plenty of space. The baby gate on the deck out front was perfect to stop the dog from chasing the hosts cats and to give him a spot to relax in the outdoors. The baby books were enjoyed by our son and the peace and quiet was enjoyed by all. Thank you so much for your hospitality and delicious zucchini loaf upon arrival!

Art retreat

Some places provide the bare essentials. This went way beyond basics and had everything we needed and more. The hosts were very thoughtful including providing a supply of coloured pencils and colouring books. Plentiful supply of cosy colourful afghans and extra towels, including facecloths which are usually forgotten. The setting is lovely. Unfortunately the cool weather meant we didn't get to enjoy the great deck, garden and outdoor eating area. Highly recommended.

Lovely getaway

We rented this place for the long weekend. It was perfect for our small group and kitchen came equipped with everything we needed to make big family style meals. Large table for dinners and board games was perfect. We loved the convenience of having the canoe and kayaks for paddling. Saw many seals, birds, starfish and other marine life paddling in the protected waters of the cove and around the small islands. Also very close to Smugglers Cove and other local hikes/walks. We would definitely stay here again. Great communication with the host on check in/out times and there was a welcome treat waiting for us which is always a lovely touch :)
