Good, affordable accommodation

The Grand Hotel has a good location next to the railway station. It is good, affordable accommodation at less than half the price of the Thon Hotel down the street. There is a good pizzeria next door of you crave an evening snack. No breakfast - there is a Joker convenience store within walking distance. There may be a kitchen where we guests can prepare our food. I did not use it. In short - value for money in this price range. Thank-you for a nice stay!

If you are looking for a nice modern hotel with a number of standard amenities… this ain’t it. If you need the basics; a bed, a bathroom, a shower, very close to the train station, then the Grand Hotel serves those requirements. While the decor, carpeting, etc. has seen many years of service, overall the place was clean and tidy. Manage your own expectations appropriately and you’ll have no issues.

Du får hva du betaler for.

Enkelt men prisvärt i Halden

Hyggelig i resepsjonen.
