The house was difficult to find and, as mentioned, had a steep hill to walk down. When we entered, it smelled strongly of gas as there were 3 gasoline jars directly inside the door. Hakone Ashinoko Hanaori
Great room and a beautiful resort! The buffet breakfast and dinner get repetitive after the first day, so two nights in Hakone feels just right. The highlights were the yukata and the onsen—super relaxing. The public onsen, in particular, was fantastic!
