Ok ryokan but is old and run down

It’s a old ryokan passed it prime time. It’s basically not bad, but is old and run down. Maybe the Covid period made it worse as the condition of the ryokan deteriorated further without upgrades. Service is good. Far away from city center but there’s shuttle bus.

中国系の団体ツアー客が、とにかくうるさい。 スタッフもその様な客対応で、とても個人旅行にはむかないホテルでした。 いらっしゃいませ。ありがとうございます。 も言えないようなスタッフがカウンター対応している。特に男性スタッフが横柄です。 女性スタッフやレストランのスタッフは皆感じが良く、それに救われたように思います。 あの男性スタッフのめんどくさそうな顔が、タクシーを呼んで貰うだけのことですよ。 今でも脳裏に焼き付いています。

連休中にも関わらずリーズナブルなお値段で宿泊できました。和洋室8畳➕ツインのお部屋で角部屋だったせいか、窓からベイエリアの花火や函館空港の迫力ある離発着が間近に見えました。お部屋のバスルームが狭く感じましたが、大浴場のお湯はとても良かったです。
