We returned with badly muddied shoes after a hike of Mt Kilimanjaro and left our shoes on the front porch. "Not as shown in pictures. Low key creepy… There was no free airport pickup (as suggested)—we had to pay. No running water, no toilet seat, bugs in the sink, no electrical outlets and very cold. We were also asked to pay twice. On the positive they fed us a nice breakfast. "

"This is a budget hotel that is mostly used by backpackers who spend a night before moving on with their travels. Price is very reasonable and there is free wifi and a good chef. Otherwise not many amenities. Cleanliness of the place was an issue. It rained one night and my room got flooded. The staff were very helpful though and gave me another room. There is a small courtyard where you can hang out and have your meals though this hotel lacks ambience. It's fine for a one night stay but don't...

"We had a wonderful experience at Shose Farmhouse. We received a warm welcome at the reception with warm towels, tea and was introduced to the staff. The grounds were lush and filled with fruit trees and flowering plants. Our rooms had a great view and were well appointed. The restaurant on premises provided a memorable experience and the food was excellent. The staff was friendly and catered to our every need. We were given a tour of the farmhouse and saw their livestock, vegetable gardens and fresh water pond. I give this venue a thumbs up!!! Doreen & John Bellomo"
