The hotel is in a nice part of the city. I enjoyed the choice of breakfast items and eating outside on the terrace. The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly. There are renovations going on but not disruptive, noise wise. Just a little grumble about the foam chip pillow. The hotel was in walking distance of the downtown shopping area. There are also a choice of 3 buses from a stop just outside of the hotel. All 3 buses go to the main train station.

Not a good experience
Staff members was okay, hotel was abit run down, rooms was very hot, no air-conditioning or fan. Understand there is covid, unable to have coffee in bedroom just with a little milk.

Nice and friendly 4-star hotel.
A very nice evening on a through-trip. Friendly staff and good breakfast. The under-hotel parking was amazing to keep the car cool in the heat wave.

Lovely Hotel
Nice clean hotel with great bar and food. Would be nice to have a full size duvet on the bed but I understand this is what is done in Germany.

you have to pay parking fee (overnight 5 euros). Food at the restaurant seems to be reasonable. burger is ok.

this is a great hotel, 5 mins walking from the shops and restaurants. it has a great outdoor terras for food and drink (inc smoking) breakfast was really enjoyable.

The Hotel itself is great! Clean, modern and well maintained. The Wifi, very slow and unstable. The Hotel is located a bit outside of the city centre, in a very quiet Neighborhood. However the local Bus system is great.

Good hotel for business
Mercury is a very good option is Hagen. It is mostly used for business travellers. It has a good gym, rooms are comfortable and internet works. People speak English and it has a (paid) parking lot.

Clean and easy to loocate
Hotel was clean and moden but disliked paying extra for parking in there own carpark.would not use again soley for that reason

We stayed here for a business trip. We were attending an event at the Event Park Hagen, and this hotel was recommended to us by the venue. It was a fine hotel, and the staff was very helpful in accommodating our needs.

rubbish never saw a cleaner for three days , never got our bed made for the whole stay and the site said it was only 12 km from Dortmund infact it was 25 km

This place is a hotel wannabe. No A/C, they covered the pool with a fitness center that has 2 treadmills, you have to wait in line everyday to leave in order for your parking ticket to be stamped at the front desk, 4 hangers in a rack that wants to be a closet, no drawers to put your clothes. Housekeeping doesn't speak English OR German. Bathroom is small and no place to store toiletries. Good luck!

Decent hotel, nothing extraordinary..
Was there just for a day, but the hotel is quite far from the city center and connectivity is a tad poor... we checked in a little early but were not allotted a room even after waiting for more than an hour... don't think they need so much time to just do up 1 room.. we requested that we were ready to compromise on floor / size but the front desk didn't look capable to take such decisions ... it's fine that we were a little early (about 2 hours) so can't complain much about it ... rest decent place of you have your own car ....
