"Good hotel and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and fine. Only issue for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the included free dinner was not very good at least the day we stayed. Either offer a good free dinner or don't offer at all so guests can plan accordingly. Nevertheless, I would stay here again."

"We loved, loved, loved this property. It is really close to the train station. It is an old building, with lots of charm, but well maintained and brought to modern standards. The staff were amazing, and are very proud of their little hotel and its history. If we are ever in Lillehammer again we would definitely make this our home base."

"Breakfast was fantastic and well spread out to avoid congestion. Place was located in a great safe area and was well lit up. The staff members were very helpful and there was someone constantly at the desk regardless of the time."

"We visited in summer. The hotel was quiet but still with plenty of atmosphere. It was lovely to have the swimming pool almost to ourselves. We had a very enjoyable three course meal. The chef made sure we had a suitable vegetarian starter and main course. Although we only spent one night on our way elsewhere we were very impressed with the staff, food and amenities."

"Ski slopes were a ten minute walk, there is a shuttle bus but it's very infrequent. Hotel was clean and well appointed, rooms are quite small but contain everything you need. Pool area was clean and quiet."

"Room was clean, bedding was clean and spotless, bathrooms nice and tidy. Only things which are a little bothered us was that tv had 6 channels and only one in english. And few times there was voice without a vision. There are sockets but only in one place and just one. And if you wanna charge 2 things you need to disconnect the telly. Beside that hotel was lovely. All wooden inside, fireplace beautiful and give warm, place for a kids to build lego, and play board games. Nice breakfasts. Bus to Hafjell from front of the hotel. Family park just 10 minuts walk from hotel. Great place."
