The perfect place to stay in Haarlem!

What can I say? This place was absolutely perfect for our stay in Haarlem. Rudy and Bae were excellent hosts providing great communication for arrival to the flat and easy entry as well. The house itself is in a great area, so close to the city center and the bus stop making it easy to get around. Plus the bikes! We used the bikes during our entire stay and I don't think there's a better way to experience the city than on a bike. The stairs at the flat are quite steep so if you are older take note of that, but the house was cozy and felt like home. The main bed was extremely comfortable and there are many amenities in the house. Rudy and Bae also provided lots of great recommendations for places to visit during our stay. I'm so thankful we stayed here as it really allowed us to have the best Haarlem experience we could have had.

Charming House appropriately named

This rental was clean and very efficient. The location was what sold me and I was not disappointed. It was in easy walking distance to many of the attractions of Haarlem Centrum. There were plenty of restaurants available close by including DeDakkas on top of the parking garage right out the front door. The views were great! Bea was a supportive host that answered all my questions before my arrival. I really enjoyed the courtyard at the end of the day to relax and read. The Dutch stairs are a unique challenge but very doable and this is coming from a senior citizen! I would recommend this rental without reservation.

This is a lovely property, a few steps from one of Haarlem's canals and ideally placed for cafes, bars and restaurants. Before our stay Bea offered lots of helpful advice and there's more information/guide books in the house. The house is well equipped and a lot of thought has gone into ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay. Stairs take a bit of getting used to, but not a problem. The only niggles were one of the two bikes not being usable due to a puncture (no repair kit) and having the boiler in the bedroom is not ideal - during our stay it clicked on and fired for a few seconds every hour or so at night, despite the thermostat being turned down low. This was disruptive. Otherwise would get five stars.
