"The hotel is extremely understaffed to the point of having to wait almost an hour to check in. There was a sign at the front desk saying someone would “return soon” which is not at all helpful since “soon” tells people nothing. Once the front desk clerk retuned she was very pleasant but the people waiting were not. She told me (because I asked) that she would be alone for her whole shift. The room itself was clean which was a pleasant surprise, but the trash cans at the two entrances were literally overflowing and spilling on to the ground and then blowing through the parking lot. Having a young girl by herself on a Saturday until at least 11pm is alarming and unacceptable from a hotel guest perspective but also from a security/safety perspective "

"You could be so much better, but I don’t think you will spend the money with the effort to become that. It’s an old property and it’s very European and I travel all over the world dozens of times a year so I do appreciate some elements of this property, the facilities in my room, but it leaves a lot… A lot… A lot to be desired. You need more lighting in the room that is so simple and won’t cost you anything. You can’t have bunkbeds. I know that seems European, but somebody was complaining that was checking in the same time as me with her daughter how many people really want bunkbeds this is not summer camp. I stayed in a hotel in Amsterdam that was very tight and small and they still managed to put a regular bed. I felt like the staff was more concerned with the martini bar downstairs than guests who are paying $600 a night as opposed to $15 for a cocktail. The var . The various people at the front desk almost felt like they were pulled off the street and didn’t know anything about the property. They couldn’t be more clueless and I don’t mean that personally. I mean that for management. It’s a great location, but you can’t rest on just that. Nobody was guarding the front door when an undesirable odd situation happened. A high-end boutique hotel needs to protect itself and its guest. I was fine with the lift but its outdated . 2/5"

"Rooms and amenities were clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Only downside is the room walls are thin and the room I was in, the air was inconsistent. Warm, air would turn on cool, then once it shut off, warm again."

"Clean, cute apartment. Loved that they had fresh flowers for us and snacks, as well as coffee provided. Apartment was very clean. Good communication with owner. Easy access into apartment, although driveway is a tight fit to get car into, but I think that’s common for the area. Comfortable and homey feel. Made for a great stay!"

"Located near some cute shops, coffee and eateries. Quirky decor. Our stay was brief and busy with family bu I would liked to have enjoyed the unit longer. We did not even get to enjoy the bottle of wine they left for us!"

"First impressions were good. The space is clean and decently stocked with cups and cutlery. Beds are comfortable but ours was so old or heavily used that it actually broke one morning while we were sitting in bed drinking our coffee. But the property manager fixed it that afternoon while we were out. The bathroom is very small, and the bathtub backs up with water so you take a bath and a shower at the same time. The couch feels like concrete which is where unfortunately one guest was staying. Parking is not great either. All in all, it was clean, the manager responded quickly to an emergency however they didn’t tell us any check out procedures and we were able to be comfortable for a few days. "
