"We loved our stay at Alex’s house - it was perfect for our family group of 14. There were several open family areas and the outdoor area was fantastic. "Great outlook with floor to ceiling glass, spoilt by dirty windows. House is large, with great bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas. Kitchen iswell appointed, but lacked basic grocery items. The supplied sugar was lumpy and dirty, like a wet coffee spoon had been stirred through. Some minor work required to bring the property up to scratch - minor painting etc. Some otems need replacing- toaster, coffee machine, bathroom garbage bin amd toilet brush holder wtc. as they are old, dirty, rusty...

"From start to finish, there were no issues. Our hosts communicated everything we needed to know. We enjoyed the kayaks and pool table as well as the fire pit. The ducks were a bit of a nuisance, leaving a mess to clean up on the concrete. We thoroughly enjoyed our family reunion in such a comfortable house, the perfect place to relax."

"If you are visiting Morisset or the surrounding areas, then you should definitely stay at the Waterfront Cottage. It is a home away from home, with little extra touches. The coffee machine and pods made our morning coffee extra special. My husband and adult children had an awesome time fishing on the river in the kayaks. The place was spotlessly clean and check in and check out was seamless. If I could rate this place more than 5 stars I definitely would. Kim you have a little diamond here and...

"This is a pretty cottage with easy access to the river for fishing and boating. The house is well equipped, and the beds were divinely comfortable! A few small problems: no detergent for washing up our 3 coffee cups, no bubble bath or tissues in the ensuite bathroom."

"Visited Newcastle to meet up with family. Tighes Hill was close to all the places I needed to be. It was a quiet location, easy to find, coffee shop across the road. The rooms in the Funky Terrace were a good size. Met up with the cleaner as we were leaving - she is lovely."
