10/10 Excellent

"We had such a great experience at the Grand Lodge. I've stayed here a few times before and the overall experience has been well worth it. The pool & hot tub are excellent, there's an on-site restaurant for breakfast, and the rooms are comfortable & have all the necessities. There's plenty of on-site parking. Additionally, the Town Shuttle has a pick-up and drop-off at Mountaineer Square, a quick walk from the lobby. Check-in was smooth and easy. We read some reviews about the property being "dated", but that seems unwarranted. 5-stars absolutely! Thank you."

"Check-in was very efficient, but the staff was not very friendly. The room was enormous and seemed to be quite clean. However, it is very outdated. I.e. carpet was coming up in places the grout and the tiling snd the finish in the bathroom needs to be redone.. And I get that it’s tourist season, but a little bit overpriced for what it is."
