"Nice room, let down by the bathroom which looked very tired. Shower curtain had certainly seen better days. Good to have a fridge, plus communal microwave."

"Bras d'Or Lakes Inn was a wonderful place to stay. We were there for a week (Sep 2026) and were very impressed by the friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The restaurant served excellent dinners and some nights we also had live music - very enjoyable! It was a good location from which to explore various parts of Cape Breton Island. We highly recommend Bras d'Or Lakes Inn!"

"Very clean, had everything one would need. I'm more of a minimalist but that's an individuals taste. It was quiet which I was looking for. Wifi/phone is spotty, had to go outside to get a signal..not a big deal. love the walk to the water, the beach was lovely. Overall, I would definitely rent there again."
