The hotel is well priced and well located in the Adelaide CBD. It is a little south of the action, but it is a reasonably short walk or tram ride to Rundle Mall etc. The room was large, clean and modern - I have no complaints. Recommended.

The room was massive, the furniture could have been placed a little more imaginatively but that was a style thing. The bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water. The kitchenette was functional. Rm 43 needs a little bit of love re the mixer tap, and the carpet is threadbare in one spot. The hotel is large, the bar can be a little noisy at the beginning of the night, but then as the night progresses our room was very quiet and looked out into the courtyard. The restaurant serves a very good breakfast and the hotel staff are all professional and friendly. The hotel is in walking distance of most of the cities attractions, and if you don’t fancy walking the tram and bus stops are close by.

Lovely hotel, well maintained. Staff all helpful. Good breakfast selection. Nice big spa pool. Good central location.

Very cheap onsite (reserved) parking. Lovely pool and spa. The sauna didn't sauna much. Also someone had stolen many of the hot rocks. Carpet in the room was dirty. Hot tub in the room was nice. Heater in the room was broken. Internet didn't quite reach to our room so the smart TV wasn't very. Pets were allowed in the 4 adjacent rooms but apparently not in ours. Seems silly to waste the courtyard. We had hoped to do a weekend with the dog but couldn't get a pet friend room with a tub. Just FYI it's a noisy neighborhood. Street noise, pedestrian noise, hooning, children, dogs. Some of these are fine. Just know it's going to be noisy. The bed is on the medium / soft side. The bathroom door is not air tight or sound proof but the bathroom is well appointed. Fan and heat lamp are very nice. Used the hot tub and jets twice. Not deep but relaxing enough. The Adelaide Inn is a good fit for a drive in and stay the night or weekend kind of thing. Lots of football fans. Walk, bus or taxi to Adelaide Oval. The dining room (breakfast) is closed for the winter. Had hoped to find a relaxing, inner city place where the dog can come. Though dog friendly rooms are available when booked in advance, the noise and shabbiness does not give a relaxing outcome. I want for check in and relax not check in and call maintenance to come fix the deficiencies. It's an OK place but wouldn't stay again.

Upgrading the room at $355 a night wasn’t worth the extra money. Advertised as a junior spa sweet with a view. The view was terrible, basically a brick wall and when I stayed there 20 years ago nothing has changed. Bathroom plus shower was decrepit with damaged cupboard’s, pedestal light was faulty. It seems that it just getting old and reminds me of an old pair of shoes that I don’t like. Will only stay again for convenience only. Only positive was an excellent buffet breakfast.
