Beach Get Away

We found this property to match what the pictures showed. It was clean, bed was comfortable and it was close to the beach and the pool. Easy parking and the unit is on the first floor so access was great.

7111 Phoenix VII

Overall, the location was very nice. I would note that some of the outlets in the living area do not work. The drapes covering all the back doors have gaps that do not allow for complete privacy, the drape in the bedroom does not cover the edges and the light from outside the front door is VERY bright.

Family Vacay

The stay was great! The condo itself was clean and beautiful. The pools were great and enjoyed! The boardwalk to the beach is super long! The main complaint was the parking permit process and price. I was told by the parking attendant to check in at the front desk and get the permit, no problem, get to the front desk they say I’m not in the system, but that’s normal when booking with Beach Getaway. She did huff and puff and complain but took the email I presented as proof and printed the permit, no problem. Door code worked I was happy! Daughter came and I went to get her parking permit the same ordeal over again and had to pay another $55 dollars for her. The permit made finally then to realize when I stated check out was Sunday June 2 she still put June 1 and we worried they would tow her vehicle and I would have to get that straightened out as well. Amidst that all was the Phoenix VII front desk being a pain and not the booking or communication with Beach Getaway!

The location of the condo was perfect. It could use some updating. The mattress was horrible. The ice machine did not work properly. Old appliances in the kitchen. When the cleaning crew cleans, they should slow down a little bit and mop the floors, and not swifter mop it. It needs map water to get the dirt so your feet are not black.

Property Great/ Condo not so much

Property nice, well kept, employee’s great! Chair rentals great! Condo needs upgrades, all furniture worn out, bed Aweful , toilet will hardly flush, could be a great condo with some investment to it.

Great condo . Well decorated. Easy access to beach and pool . Perfect for couple and handicap because parking right in front of condo. Bath tub plumbing needs replaced and drains slow.

Perfect family getaway

My family of three came down here for a week and absolutely loved the unit. It’s spacious, clean, updated, and the balcony was really big with a beautiful view. Our only complaint was the bathroom needs updating and the toilet clogged a lot. We loved that we didn’t have to use the elevators and parking was right by the unit. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful views, ease of access to the property being ground level. The condo is nice, just needs a refresh. All kitchen accessories need replacing. Overall an excellent stay.

Beach getaway

This location was great. Close to ocean and pool. The pull out bed was not comfortable at all and had to go buy an airmatress for my children to sleep on. If you have anyone else going i would suggest a back up sleep option. Other than that it was a great stay. !

Don’t let the word Luxury fool you.

First of all, one thing that is not mentioned in the listing is that you have to pay an extra $55 for parking. The bed is awful, unless you like an extra extra soft mattress. I do realize that at beach places your feet will turn black, but my feet were black just from putting the groceries away when we got there. I set something on the counter that had condensation on it while putting said groceries away and wiped it up with a paper towel and it was dirty!! The kitchen cabinets had a terrible smell. We had bought some wine and ended up drinking out of champagne glasses since there was only one wine glass. The kitchen and bathroom are outdated and dingy. I feel like all the appliances are second hand. I know it seems trivial, but the washer and dryer open opposite each other making doing laundry an even more daunting task while on vacation. If you want to hang anything while here, make sure you bring your own hangers. We fought over the two that were hanging in the closet. We are completely fine with providing our own paper products, cleaning items and garbage bags. I just wish that there was a kitchen garbage can provided. I am really hoping that the owners just are not aware of the condition of their place and that this review lets them know what kind of condition it is in. Fortunately, this was a vacation that was mostly spent outdoors, and that was lovely.

Overall impression of this property is that it is a great property given the very reasonable rental rate. Future renters need to be aware that Phoenix VII is an older property, therefore the units can reflect their age. Given a modest update this could easily be a 5 star property.

Quick trip before school starts

We really enjoyed our stay at 111. This is our second stay at the Phenix 7. We love the location seated between so much to do. The beach is perfectly beautiful.

Wonderful trip

Location great, check in and paperwork easy. Loved walking into unit from parking lot. Interior very nice, plenty of cookware, utensils, plates, etc, Only complaint was the large skillets not good. We love a great breakfast, difficult as only a little non-stick skillet. Need a new large one, but not a deal breaker we will be back and stay in the same unit.

Relaxing getaway

This property was perfect! Really convenient spot. Enjoyed sitting on the deck watching everyone at the pool. Short walk to beach. Our entrance keypad battery went bad mid-stay and we couldn't get in. Called property and they had a maintenance person there in less than 5 minutes to replace it! Awesome!

Beautiful View

We loved the condo and the view. A few attention to detail/repairs needed: oven hood fan not working, VERY slow draining bath tub. Bedroom had dust bunnies on walls and the living room floor in non-high traffic areas needed to be cleaned. TV in bedroom did not work. These items were minor and we enjoyed our time in Orange Beach.

Our stay was everything that we expected.

The condo was very clean and comfortable for the 4 of us. Very convenient on the first floor. Beach was beautiful. Bed VERY comfortable. I would rent this unit again.

Phoenix 7 Orange Beach

The condo was very nice and well equipped, however a few shortcomings needed to be corrected. The TV was very small. The floors were not well vacuumed and had sand on them. There were no hangers in the closet and it took three phone calls to get some. The light over the kitchen sink only worked part time. The window in the bedroom was very dirty and covered in cobwebs.
