Palmetto Beachfront Hotel, a By the Sea Resort

"I would recommend staying here to anyone that’s reading these reviews. We’ve been coming to Palmetto for a few years. First the hotel was family owned, and had a lot of extras. Like little things like a blow dryer in the room. I took a shower to get ready to go out for the day Antiquing and there’s no blow dryer. I go down to the front desk or “we don’t have those anymore and don’t have any to loan”… I’m old and this hair doesn’t look good dried naturally..things like no pad and pen in the room. They need to offer towels for the pool. We do love the location and I will say it was cleaner this year than it was last year. It’s supposed to be a smoke free facility, but you go to the pool and a lot of them were using Vapes that smell worst then cigarettes. I consider those as smoking and they should have to go out into a smoking area to use those. Overall, we had a great time. We found it very clean and the bed was comfortable.. super close to the beach, close to restaurants. Can’t wait to come back next year. Just still need to work on them smoking issues..I know you tried because I even got a text saying that it was a smoke free facility and I’m thinking did these people over here that are smoking get the same text. You probably need people to be walking around the pool area every now and then."

"Enjoying fun outdoor games, lounging in a mini cabana by the sparkling pool, with a refreshing frozen Miami Vice in hand, and you all set to relax in Key West. We enjoyed this as a staycation and will definitely do so again. Thanks for the memories!"

"It was good for a 2 star hotel on the beach. Nothing fancy a bit dated. It worked for us as we were more interested in having a beach view balcony. The room was clean."

"The stand out for your property is ‘Roy’ your Concierge. His knowledge was second to none - thankyou Roy However Front of building Valet Parking was deplorable Your app did not work Messages sent not answered Most of the time their desk outside was unmanned Also their phone number when rang was disconnected Your hotel asthetic is beautiful especially the pool area However our room was underwhelming and our grey couch did not live up to the hotel aesthetic Staff at reception were not particularly interested in anything we had to say perhaps going back to basics on guest relations would benefit Room service for a snack is expected from a hotel of your level Decor in reception area was exceptional Location was perfect in the French Quarter"
