Should have been great

The cabin looked nice. It was clean. Unfortunately we got there and the air conditioning did not work in the middle of June and there was no one available to help with the problem. So our options were to stay in the 80 degree cabin or check out and get a refund. Kudos to the host for giving us a full refund. However, it really messed up what should have been a really nice stay at a nice cabin.

Great family stay!

We had a wonderful time celebrating the fourth at this beautiful and cabin. We went kayaking, fishing, and spent time outside. Loved every minute!

If your looking for a relaxing and serene time, thats slightly off-grid, but still close to civilization...this is the place!!! The host was great and responsive, the cabin was perfect, and the location unbeatable... Thank you so much for a great time!!!

Great place to unplug

Very peaceful and quiet place. My husband enjoyed fishing and caught some killer bass! My favorite part was the porch where I read a book and just relaxed.

Great stay!

Wow! What a great cabin! We loved the wrap around porch and the porch swing. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning with our coffee and looking at the river. The cabin is very well stocked with anything you need for cooking. It is very secluded, which we thought was great. It is a very cozy place to hang out, and just enjoy nature!

Cute cabin, but dirty

No river access to fish or swim unless you climb down 9 feet on the unkept ledge. Cabin was cute but covered in cobwebs, dog hair, dirt and dead bugs, inside and out. Including hundreds of wasps. There was an alarm system that continuously went off during our stay. The water from the faucet was almost slimy, and smelled terrible. Not too mention the camper 20 yards from our porch that the host rented out as well, so no privacy. Will not recommend, will not be back.

Wonderful Place to Get Away!

If you want to get away from a busy life for a bit, this is the place to go. We really enjoyed the seclusion, it was so quiet and peaceful. The river was running fast so we only got to kayak once, but it was so beautiful. If you are a wildlife person, jackpot! We saw deer, otters, minks, rabbits and hummingbirds are abundant! The inside of the cabin was smaller than we anticipated, but it was just the two of us so it was perfect. I would highly suggest bringing your own drinking water, as the well water was a bit pungent. However, it had flooded in the area (not the cabin) right before our arrival, and you can't control mother nature. The cabin was clean, but there was a lot of pet hair, we have dogs so this is something we are used to and it didn't bother us. Having access to a little stick vac would have been a plus, but the broom worked just fine. Wifi worked great, cell service was a bit spotty. We would definitely return, it was a wonderful place to get away and we really enjoyed our stay.
