"Great views and bird watching. Clean. Nice rural area and secure parking. Nice garden with fruit trees. I had a fresh pomegranate. Great place to see stars. Road and airport noise. Best to keep windows closed at night. Should verify all things are working before renter arrives. I shouldn’t have to fix the door or change the gas for the stove on first use. I was tired and hungry and am not familiar with gas."

"Immer wieder gern sind wir hier zu Gast. Check in mit Hausrundgang wurde durch unseren Gastgeber perfekt durchgeführt. Er war immer schnell erreichbar und stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.Das Haus war sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Radio, TV mit reichlich deutschen Programmen und der Möglichkeit seine heimischen Streaminganbieter zu nutzen. Die Küche bietet alles, damit ein üppiges Menü zubereitet werden kann. "This is a beautiful hotel that I could not fault. Gardens are beautifully maintained and so peaceful. Staff without question are helpful, courteous and really warm but remaining professional. Breakfast is exceptional. Pool area so peaceful and always lots of beds free. We stayed bed and breakfast and ate at the hotel once and choice and quality of buffet was also exceptional. Would highly recommend."

Hotel Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden

"This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in – and I have travelled a fair bit. The decor in the public spaces and in the room itself was exquisite. The staff were always smiling and helpful. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal in terms of quality and the range of choice. The gardens are magnificent and well tended. Look for the black swans! The spa was amazing. Our package allowed us free use of the spa. If we wanted a specific treatment we paid for it. The spa included two outdoor pools, one with jets, a jacuzzi in a grotto, and indoors there was a thermal treatment circuit available without charge which included three steam rooms, a sauna, an ice room, a jacuzzi, a very warm swimming pool, and a room with water beds. We tried two of the three hotel restaurants and especially liked The Oriental. We liked the aviary beside the breakfast area and it seemed well tended. There was live music in the large bar off the lobby every night. It was always at least OK but one night there were two tenors singing songs from opera and pop music and they were absolutely outstanding. There was a free shuttle bus down into the town of Puerto de la Cruz which we made use of several times. The location, near the La Orotava Botanical Garden, is nice and there are several restaurants and cafes within a few minutes' walk. It's easy to get the bus from near the hotel if you want to make a trip to La Orotava (which I recommend) or Santa Cruz, the main town of Tenerife. Altogether fabulous!"

"Stayed in this hotel six times now. The rooms are a good size, very clean. The swimming pool has several sun loungers and the pool is big. The gardens are lovely to sit in. All staff are very friendly and polite. Will most likely return again. Only complaint is no English channels on tv. There are German, Sustrian etc."
