Treetop Hideaway

We loved everything about our stay. The owners provided water and snacks, so that upon arrival, after a long drive, we didn't have to think about cooking. But, if we had to, everything is provided in a well-stocked kitchen. The view is beautiful, it's very quiet, and sitting on the deck listening to the wind in the trees, smelling the clean evergreen scented air is relaxing.There is no air conditioning, but with windows open there is plenty of cross breeze, so it wasn't a problem.The nearest towns are about 20 minutes away, so make sure you have yourself stocked for the stay. However, visiting Guffey was an experience. We met Bill at the antique store, and he was full of stories. And the Guffey Bakery is excellent.We would stay again in a heartbeat.
