About this property

Tranquil Redwood Retreat

  • Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Welcome to our enchanting retreat nestled in the midst of majestic Redwoods. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this picturesque location, where the serene Russian River flows nearby and the allure of wine country and Sonoma County awaits.
The scent of the forest permeates the air as you relax on the private deck, sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening.

This is a two-story tiny home. The first floor has a pullout sofa spacious for two people to sleep, and the second floor has low ceilings. While the first level offers ample headroom and comfortable living spaces, the upstairs area is best suited for guests who are comfortable with lower clearance.

The space is perfect for 1-4 people. If you are part of a larger group, we have another tiny home on property that is also available on Airbnb. We encourage you to also book the other unit, which also can accommodate up to 4 people: To make reservation for the other listing please visit Airbnb dot com/h/armstrongwoods5

Step into our cozy and thoughtfully designed Airbnb, where you`ll be greeted by a tranquil oasis surrounded by towering redwood trees. The scent of the forest permeates the air as you relax on the private deck, sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. The peaceful ambiance of the redwoods provides the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our prime location offers easy access to the Russian River, just a short stroll away. Spend your days basking in the sun on the sandy riverbanks or embark on an adventure of kayaking, canoeing, or paddleboarding along its gentle currents. The river beckons with endless possibilities for water enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

For wine enthusiasts, our retreat serves as an ideal base to explore the renowned wineries and vineyards of wine country. Indulge in unforgettable wine tastings, take scenic vineyard tours, and savor the flavors of award-winning vintages. Sonoma County`s vine-covered hills and sprawling estates create a picturesque backdrop as you delve into the world of viticulture.

Beyond the vineyards, Sonoma County offers a treasure trove of attractions. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Redwoods, where towering redwoods stand as silent sentinels. Stroll along the forest trails, hike to breathtaking vistas, and feel a sense of awe as you connect with nature`s majesty.

Guerneville`s vibrant downtown is just a stone`s throw away, inviting you to explore its charming streets adorned with unique shops, boutiques, and art galleries. Delight your taste buds at local restaurants, savoring the farm-to-table cuisine that showcases the region`s bountiful produce.

Whether you seek relaxation, outdoor adventures, or cultural experiences, our Airbnb is the perfect retreat for an unforgettable escape. Come and discover the magic of Guerneville, where the redwoods, the Russian River, and the attractions of wine country and Sonoma County converge to create a truly remarkable getaway.

The property is located about ½ mile up Armstrong Woods Rd on the right-hand side. As you approach you will see a large board on board redwood fence and the “Redwood Grove” sign. Pull into the
property and take the second driveway (about 100 feet after you enter the park) right after the little log cabin. #11 will be on your right and it’s the 4th space in (including the log cabin). You will park at an angle with the front of your vehicle nosed up to the redwood tree and gate with the little blue shed
behind it. Please park accurately as the space next door parks in the same manner and we do not want to block her gate.

Large SUV’s will not fit in this space and will need to park in the guest parking area located in the center island right when you enter the park. There is only one parking space so if there is an additional vehicle it will need to be parked in the center island.

As the property is nestled in the heart of the redwoods, it enjoys overall average cool temperatures, making air conditioning unnecessary. However, on those rare warm days, we have some helpful suggestions to keep you comfortable. There is a portable AC unit with remote upstairs in the loft. This unit provides substantial cool air and can be turned on as needed.

For any infrequent hot days, we recommend turning on the fan upstairs and leaving it on throughout the day to ensure a pleasant airflow. In the evenings, when the sun starts to set, open the windows to let in air, allowing it to circulate and cool the interior naturally.

As night falls, you can close the windows before heading to bed for a quiet and restful sleep amidst the serenity of the forest.

Finally, this is an eclectic peaceful Tiny Home Community with a number of long-term RV tenants present on the premises. Our Tiny Home has ample fencing for privacy and nice sized lots with the outdoor firepit, BBQ, hot tub, and outdoor seating.
One car can park at the unit, additional guest parking available on site.

Great Little Spot

We booked this sweet little spot for a birthday getaway. We wanted something close to town as well as near some good hiking spots. This little green didn’t disappoint! The upstairs loft is best suited for kiddos, the ceiling is too low for assistance to really appreciate the space, we needed to crawl to get to the beds in the loft.

Nice retreat

We really enjoyed our stay and the property was a highlight. We’ve always been curious about tiny houses and this one did not disappoint. Loved sitting on the deck with morning coffee and enjoying the hot tub at night. Everything was well thought, nothing was missing. The property manager made communication easy and answered any questions promptly. Thank you for a relaxing retreat from the bustle of the regular work and life routine.

Great Little Spot

Good location, clean and well stocked. If you have any physical disabilities it is not ideal as the stairs and top are a bit tight. We enjoyed our stay. Would stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the Tranquil Redwood Retreat! The cabin was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated—just like the photos. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. It was the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. We made some great memories here and would definitely love to come back!

grandma visit

The tiny house was very cozy. I did not use the upstairs beds as the stairs were too steep and the ceiling too low for this old grams, but I set up on the pull-out couch and all was great.

The home was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Lovely setting. Excellent coffee is provided. The kitchen has the basics for cooking but nothing for storage and no paper goods/spices so you literally need to bring everything you need. The stairs to the sleeping loft are tough. Very steep and you need to crawl to the beds but they are very comfortable! Regardless we would still return again.

It had all the amenities you would look for. The plates and dishes might’ve been metal so I was afraid to put them in the microwave. Some clarification could help there. Lovely micro-home but not what I expected. I expected something more tranquil but it’s a stone’s throw from a very major thoroughfare so there was actually more traffic noise than I was hoping for. Also you’re cheek-by-jowl with your neighbors. I was looking forward to peace and quiet but you instead heard every argument, TV, wet cough or dog barking. Secondly, it’s hard to tell from the photos but the loft where the beds are is about 4ft at its highest meaning you effectively have to crawl from the stairs to the bed. You can only sit up in bed at the peak of the roof. Which in turn means it’s hard to dress in the loft so you’re actually dressing and storing your luggage downstairs which, unless you close all the blinds, is on full view for your neighbors to see.

The tiny house was perfect for two people and easy access to all the amenities. The only issue was the loft had low ceilings so it took a bit to get used to. Tons of things to do in the area. Hiking, kayaking, ocean, and zip lining. Everyone was very friendly.
