Inside and out, this modern, spacious, and recently fully remodeled home is designed for your comfort and enjoyment. Step out to a private deck, hot tub, gas grill, and an outdoor living and dining area overlooking the peaceful and large backyard and pristine redwood forest. A canopy shades half the deck if you want to read or watch the clouds slide by on a warm afternoon, or recline in one of the lounge chairs if you’d rather work on your tan. The lush backyard is a private world unto itself, surrounded by Russian River fauna yet with enough open space for a game of soccer. Walk a short trail of less than 100 yards through redwoods just a half block from the house to the huge neighborhood beach where you can spend a hot summer day swimming, lounging alongside the river, or taking the house’s kayaks on a river adventure.
Two Flats & Two Cottages The Outside Inn is a comfortable home with two separate-entrance modern suites, each with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen. There are also two cozy cottages on the property: one is the perfect fifth bedroom and the other is a serene studio that can be used for meditation or as a child’s play room.
Upstairs Flat Featuring the main gathering area of the home, the fully remodeled upstairs flat has a large lounge with a media center and comfortable sofa seating, large chef’s kitchen with everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal and a huge amount of counter space, dining seating for eight, and two queen bedrooms and a bathroom. Sliding doors in one bedroom and the kitchen lead to the private deck with outdoor-dining seating for 10 or lounge areas where you can enjoy your morning coffee.
Downstairs Flat The recently fully remodeled lower level flat features a private entrance, fully equipped kitchen perfect for creating breakfast or coffee, bathroom, family room, and one queen bedroom and one double bedroom.

1. Guestrooms. This vacation rental is permitted to have up to 4 guestrooms. 2. Maximum Overnight Occupancy. The maximum overnight occupancy for this vacation rental is 10 persons, not including children under three (3) years of age. 3. Maximum Number of Day Guests and Visitors. The maximum number of registered guests and their visitors allowed during the day is, 16 persons. This does not apply to children under three (3). 4. Limit on Number of Residences or Structures. Only one (1) tenant group shall be allowed on-site ·at any given time. Up to two (2) structures may be used by the tenant group, if allowed by this permit. Tents, yurts and RVs are not allowed. 5. Recycling and refuse storage bins shall not be stored within public view unless in compliance with neighborhood standards. 9. Septic Systems and Sewer Connections. The owner shall maintain properly functioning septic system or sewer connection. 10. Outdoor Fires. Outdoor fires, when not prohibited by state or local fire bans, shall be allowed only in permitted fire pits and shall be extinguished when not in use, or before 10:00 p.m., whichever is earlier.

We love this Russian River home near the beach! The beautiful backyard is perfect for kids, and we really appreciated all the big shade trees on the warmer days.
Quiet location and plenty of space. We went in the winter but the backyard would be ideal in the summer months with close access to the river. We did enjoy the hot tub. If you are willing, it’s an easy two mile walk into town. Our host was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Thank you!
Our friend group loves this property, its river accessibility, the kitchen and especially the big back yard with its big table and beautiful surroundings. We were happy to see that the owner has sanded or refinished the table outside since our last visit. We enjoy playing table games and it was perfect.
We loved staying at this home! The proximity to the beach was phenomenal! The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were comfortable. The backyard was fantastic and well suited to family bbqs. You could easily fit two families here with room for an extra friend/couple or teenager. My kids enjoyed the foosball table and the pee wee golf joint nearby. We would love to return!
Many nice touches and upgrades to a classic Russian River home. Beautiful deck and yard. Kitchen super well equipped. Just a short walk from the river in a very quiet neighborhood.
The remodeled areas are fabulous. The backyard is what I love the most. Great access to river and having kayaks there was the best. Such a great town. Hit a couple of breweries and wineries. Every place (except a few wineries) were dog friendly. Parking easy.
We enjoyed our stay very much and made use of the hot tub, the kitchen, the comfortable patio table under umbrellas, and spent many hours at the river. Our host, Achim, was always available if we had a question or request. Thank you so much, Achim, for your flexibility and kindness.

We had a wonderful time and found the property to be ideal for our family. Everyone had plenty of space and we were able to enjoy the backyard for meals and downtime. The location right down the street from the river was amazing and we would love to go back in the summer.
We are return vacationers to the Outside Inn and we will be back again. We love the backyard, the nearby beach, and the hot tub. There are friendly neighbors around and there is so much to do in Guerneville. We used the Kayaks every day! Thanks so much to hosts for opening their peaceful retreat to renters!
We came out just after the fires. I was very worried about what we were coming into, but Aichiem was reassuring and understanding. The house is laid out a little strange but it was perfect for hosting 6 girlfriends. The backyard is beautiful, just wish we could have enjoyed it more.
This is our second time in this house and 2nd time was even better bc parts have been upgraded. Main house and in-law are clean and nice. Plenty of heating sources (which we needed). We didn’t use hot tub but it looked nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. A minor suggestion would be to upgrade some of the pans and to have a working light over the countertops for cooking. Good price and location
Place was well located, parking was easy. Cleanliness was OK, but bottom unit wasn't as clean. There were also some dishes and sheets that were dirty upon arrival. Can't get from bottom to top unit directly without going outside first. Thst isn't a real problem unless it's raining or cold (which unfortunately it was).

Disappointing Stay - Not What We Expected
I recently stayed at this vacation house with my family, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. From the moment we arrived, things just weren’t right.The photos on the listing were misleading. The house looked much larger, brighter and more modern in the pictures. In reality, it felt cramped and dark. First off, the place was dirty. The windows were dirty, the carpet and blinds in bedrooms were old and dirty. The first bedroom, when entering the home, had a sliding door that was broken. We were unable to close the doors of this bedroom which was next to the family room. There were also ant nests in this room. Really disgusting.The kitchen was well equipped but the drawers were messy, the pots and pans were worn, the coffee machine was dirty.We were told the house could accommodate 10 people but there was no dedicated dining area and the result we were huddled around a cramped table right in the kitchen for Thanksgiving.Overall, we were extremely disappointed with this vacation house. The neighborhood also felt dilapidated with multiple rusting, broken down cars on the street right outside the house.It didn’t live up to the description or the price we paid. I would not recommend it to anyone, and we definitely won’t be returning.
