Hotel basically OK. Shower drain partially blocked so had to turn shower off periodically to avoid flooding bathroom floor. One small windown looking out onto a wall 3 feet away in my room. Just did not like the surrounding area much. Did not seem to be any restaurants/bars just fast food vendors.

It’s located downtown Guayaquil. So it’s a regular neighborhood. The garage is 3 blocks away from the hotel. Which inconvenient taking in consideration it’s not the safest to be walking at night.

Good spot for a short layover
Staff was attentive and capably arranged early morning taxi. The local area is known for its nightlife, but otherwise not very nice. Hotel is a bit dated, but rooms are large. Only one small bath towel was provided.
The location is good, the rooms are spacious and generally clean but it needs a bit of attention. The air conditioning drains water into the bathroom (intentionally), with bad drainage this leaves a large pool of water for you to walk in. Hopefully this water is clean but it's not great when you want to keep your feet dry.
The breakfast is pretty poor so wouldn't let this decide if you were to stay or not.

Staff were kind and breakfast was nice at the restaurant next store. It was extremely noisy outside (honking and car alarms sounded all night), and I found hair on my sheets but was too tired to do anything about it.
Shuttle was free, and on time. Check in easy and quick. Lovely big room with decent bedside lighting.
Big bathroom with amenities but could have done with a hair dryer.
Good information about restaurants in the area and we were actually escorted up to the eating district.
Very handy to the Malecon, banks and tourist attractions.
The only disappointment was a few things not being available, that were advertised on the website, like the restaurant not being open for dinner, no fitness room/sauna etc., but the breakfast was plentiful and had variety. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed at Hotel Presidente Boutique for a stop over from the coast. It is close to the Malecon. The staff was great, no questions asked when there was a problem with a room, she just moved us to another. She also helped us a lot with our Airport transfers. I would stay here again.

just ok
my room had a window to a ventilation duct where a/c units where installed, so I had no view and not even daylight. hotel and room smelled to disinfectant and the room was far from clean...
