"La casa nos permitió descansar y ponernos a resguardo de la abundante lluvia de ese fin de semana, pero la casa necesita mejoras significativas de cara a la comodidad de los huéspedes. Hay que sustituir bombillas fundidas, poner wifi, papeleras en los baños, cambiar la ubicación de la televisión porque sobre la chimenea es un peligro (el mando de la TV estaba destrozado), y reponer leña para los días fríos. Top Guarda Hotel Reviews

TerraSense Mountain Charm Retreat & Farm

10/10 Excellent

"If you are looking to completely disconnect from the busyness of everyday life and immerse yourself in nature, this place is absolute heaven. Nestled in a stunning Portugal mountain setting, the hotel itself is breathlessly beautiful, blending perfectly with its surroundings while offering an incredibly cozy, high-end modern feel. As a massive bonus, the property is completely pet-friendly."

Vila Galé Collection Serra da Estrela Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel is beautifully situated. Great view from our room! Staff are very attentive and helpful. Restaurant à la carte meals were excellent and one evening buffet was fairly good as well. Breakfasts were great. One wish is that there would have been a 24 hour lobby coffee bar to get early morning coffee (or a machine in the room). Staff in the breakfast room were very accommodating, but only available after 8am when the restaurant opened."

Hotel Mira Serra

8/10 Good

"This was a great choice for a stop-over on our travels from the ferry in Santander to our destination, near Obidos in Western Portugal. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and perfect for our stay, as well as being dog-friendly. The park opposite provided a convenient dog walking area. The evening set meal was served in the bar area, rather than the restaurant, which was fine. The food was good, and excellent value, and the house wine was delightful. In all, this was a perfect choice and we shall use this hotel on our return journeys."
