"Lovely classic-style hotel. Friendly staff. Great cleaners. In the old town but at the edge. Superb view from Umbria - you could see for miles. Breakfast ok. Didn’t eat there but loads of restaurants nearby. Stayed 5nights. Great based for visiting other umbrian towns eg Assisi, Spello, Gubbio by train and bus. "

"Beautiful traditional property in the heart of the old town. The bathroom was clean and modern, room was lovely, staff amazing and breakfast delicious. Would definitely recommend."

"Fantastic relaxing and peaceful stay. We stayed at Abbazia for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary and we did not want to leave. Our stay was absolutely wonderful; the rooms are wonderful and the staff our so accommodating and friendly. The spa prices were very reasonable and I was impressed at the variety and quality of the many treatments they had on offer. The food was delicious with a different menu every day and dinner in the restaurant with the view of the Umbrian hills at sunset was beautiful. The two pool areas were clean and we enjoyed a very peaceful few days of sunbathing. I do recommend hiring a car for your stay as the prices of transfers or taxis are staggering (as taxis have to come from Assisi or Folignio) or if you plan to travel to any of the neighboring towns like Assisi, Montefalco or Perugia which are about 28 mins from the hotel by car.
