"Great location, next to train station. Simple amenities, no extra. But good enough for daily sleep and use. No air-con, but I came at month when it's not hot, so natural air is good enough. Got free coffee and tea."

"The building is impressive with its great lobby (of perhaps faded art deco glamour) of another era. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not modern and fancy, but clean and functional. Room was very comfortable. Kiel is spread out and the hotel is a bit far to walk with luggage, as I discovered, but a straight shot to train station and downtown. The terrace in front of lobby was a nice place to sit to enjoy the breezes and chill (it's Kiel!), at least until smokers claim it as their own. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast excellent: I highly recommend the breakfast, on its merits, but especially since there are few restaurants nearby."

"The interior is outdated, but pictures online give the correct impression. Our room was clean and very spacious. The bed was also comfortable. The only thing negative was that there is no aircon. Restaurants, bars and shopping is in close proximity. A good choice for budget travellers."

"Very good and stylish hotel. Amenities and TV and beds, all top notch! Parking on premises 25€ Breakfast could not be booked when reserving the room with Hotels.com. At the reception they wanted 54 euro for 2xbreakfast. However they gave us free parking as compensation, ok."

"Die Unterkunft war prima! Sauber und in super Lage. Verschiedene Busse in unmittelbarer Nähe, Hauptbahnhof fussläufig. Nachteile: kein einziges scharfes Messer v..a. für Obst, kaum Möglichkeit ein Rad zu mieten das der Radkeller sehr steil ist und auch kein Platz darin um das Leihrad sicher zu verstauen. Die Kommunikation um den Zugangscode für den Wohnungsschlüssel zu bekommen hat mich viel Zeit und Nerven gekostet - dies mag aber ein Einzelfall gewesen sein.Die Wohnung als solche, wenn man nicht Rad fahren und wenig kochen möchte ist absolut super. Ich hab lange nicht mehr so gut geschlafen!!"
